Hi Rob,
Ah yeah, thats right, I remember hearing that there was a TomTom running on Linux... niceeeeeee
Nice to see they have a similar file structure, even on Linux with the .bif's
Yeah, I tried almost all situ's trying to get the 6.010 workin on my Gizmondo..... I had no probs with 6.000. Hoping a new patch/update may help...
So that mapinfo.dat file helps to load the proggie up for a little while, to at least show the map, even though it does crash..?
What do I do, replace my mapinfo.dat with this one, just to test it..?
And what exactly is mapinfo.dat, what does it do, and what data is inside it...?
Thanks,
Lister

ROB wrote:...i have the ttgo.bif and install.bif file on the storage-card from my TomTom ONE (the system from ttone works with Linux).
Till present has tested all variations to bring the NAVTEQ-Map on my PPC to running! All possible system files mutually exchanged and to and fro copied - unfortunately, without success. However, i do not believe that it is a problem with the speed from PPC v6.010, because v652.1204 (Benelux) also runs! In addition, run the map also with exchanged mapinfo.dat from the WE Map v650 (even if only briefly up to the crash) !
Will further test tomorrow...
good night
