Hi all

I am having a bit of a problem getting TT6 To run on my device.

My device has a landscape screen

I have 2 versions of TT6

One installs OK But runs in portrait mode so that I have to use a screen rotate utill before I can us it.

The othere Installs ok but fails to find any map.

I have followed the tips given for a folder named 2577, TomTom etc but the only whay I can get it to read a map is to install the Guam map in the my documents folder.

How do I get it to look for the map on my sd card or how do I get the other version to start in landscape mode.

Thanks for any help.

PS My device only has a SD Card slot

Hi Twingo, that did the trick, thank you ever so much for the help.
Out of interest, when the application installs it doesnt ask where to install e.g device or SD card, so where does it install to?

Hi all - I found this TomTom Map data reader earlier and thought it might be useful to you, there is a text file with instructions. I've uploaded the zip to Rapidshare and here is the link:-

It has also been uploaded yesterday on usenet by Kingsfan.

Newsgroup: alt.binaries.warez.pocketpc.gps
Filename: Western_Europe_v652_1185
Parts: 18
Pars: 400+ blocks

It's much faster to download that way.
Use a newsreader like Newsleecher to download it.

Yes it's the same as the one posted here. It was also uploaded to usenet by Kingsfan (a user of this forum)

I just responded on heman's question if it could be uploaded to something other than Rapidshare.

Thank you a lot, Pistebeast.
