Read u alot on ForumEmpire. Learned alot about downloading to PPC. Then went to xdi-developers and upgaded my imate pda2k to WM5 and upgraded my rom as well. Use to work on desktops, laptops and IBM AS/400 but retired now (old woman oringinaly from scousetown) (Liverpool, England). Just got into this PPC thing to keep mind busy So I have alot to thank you for. SOOOOOO

I think the Voice Folder should be in the root of the storage card e.g. Storage Card/Voices not within the tomtom folder - try that :)


On mine the the voices folder is in the Program Files\Navigator Folder on the device, I got no sound if I put them in the voices folder on the SD Card

Guest, all maps work with ALL tomtom devices. PPC, Palm, Go, One, Rider. They all use the exact same map data.


All, except Western_Europe 652.1185 which is made by navteq, no teleatlas.

I know you can change the mapinfo and it made to work in PPC, but it will crash when you try to change the home location fex. (as reported by twingo in this thread)
