The maps MUST be loaded onto a storage card....in the root directory...that is where TT looks for them.
Get yourself a micro SD card....a 2 Gig card is cheap....

Malik and Andych,
I also have the Kaiser and have an SD card with the maps loaded on. My device also didn't recognize the maps. I followed the instructions provided in the readme file, however I may be missing something completely obvious. Any updates on your efforts would be appreciated.

Having checked out the O2 sites it appears that "only" Germany is offering Tomtom pre-installed and the other european countries have Co-Pilot 7.
the only screen shot from the O2 site really doesn't give any indication that their version is TT7 and while the screen shot from the EBAY site is certainly different to any I have seen with TT 6.032, I would be reluctant to believe anything that is on Ebay that I couldn't confirm from the manufacturer. it appears that the Tomtom site is currently very slow, so it is difficult to comment any further.
Suffice to say that as soon as someone does get their hands onto a TT7 version for PPC....you will hear about it right here.

I've just read the owner's manual of this new O2 Xda orbit 2 and didn't find anything about TT7. The screenshots that appear in this owners manual are from TT6 (6.020).

I think this ebay auction is not 100% true. Tomorrow I'll go directly to one of the O2 shops in Germany and take a look to this O2 Xda orbit 2...

I have tried this version, and the prior version of TOMTOM, installed to the root directory of my SD card... HTC Touch phone (CDMA). and can not get the maps to be found. I loaded all 800+ megs of US and Canada files to the root directory to the cars (no sub folder) and when I start TT I get the maps not found message and the party is over. Should I have kept the map file in a folder and if so, what name should it be??
Thanks guys
