Do you need to install original TomTom first, I run this version and it worked great without having to do anything. So why?

You only need to run the original TomTom if you are a 1st time user, If you have had it on your phone B4 and are doing a clean install just install the Patch version that all.

Why do we have to do this? What's the reason we can't install it straight? Give an answer!

I don't have a Google account, so I tried sideloading the standard app from APK Pure (which included the OBB), and it epically fails; at launch, it attempts to contact TomTom (I suspect actually trying to connect to Google Play), and results with, "Can't connect to TomTom. Try Again Later."

So that's why.

Why don't you get a Google account you can have as many as you like and its free as will..
Just Woundering
A lot of app need you to have a google account like this app, This is the only way your going to get this app to work in the 1st place..

For those struggling to get this app to work, similar app from TomTom (supposedly only for certain part of the world + more fine grain selection of maps to download rather than the whole region, e.g. US northeast vs New York)
