I have always used DFox's mod of tomtom go for android. It appears that mod is no longer being applied to more recent versions. Do those of you who use this mod recommend I move to this version of Tomtom ???

I am using both of them Tomtom Go and Tomtom NDS they can both be install/uninstall ok
but at the moment I am using Tomtom NDS more as there is no new full version out yet of Tomtom GO,
the last full version was v18.1, as for DFox's he doesn't patch them anymore Sorry to say.

Not really sure it matters tho as i had new map update around a week or two ago

That was the last full version, all the versions after that are all beta which only last 30 days.
its up to 18.2.07 (beta) I think at the moment..
It can be use ok but only for 30 days then some of the option run out..
it will be some where around the end of the year when the next full version comes out so I have been told.

Yes i still use last dfox 1.18.1 was just saying i dont think it matters (yet) that it hasnt been updated because the 'old' version still gets map updates.

I tried nds and think it is not as good as go mainly the search sucks and personally dont like the new layout

The Map on NDS gets up-dated a lot more than Tomtom Go.
