Make sure if you are re-installing to delete sygic folder. Then read instructions. It is straight forward.

could you please provide a step by step install procedure? i tried all kinds of different 1.2 and 1.3 versions now and none work. I only get FC on all of them now. i don't understand where to find the metadata file you said needed adjusting and have no idea where this sygic folder is located. The working version i had of 1.2 is no longer to be found on the forum....

I tried installing different versions of the map, tried it with internet connection off and on, tried installing 1.3 over 1.2 and vice versa......no luck
the app just FC and somehow keeps running in the background but any attempt to open it and its FC again

My experience with this is that I have previously installed a successful copy of version 1.0 on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet. The steps I did was the following:
0) downloaded the files, unrared them
1) uninstalled tomtom
2) insert tablet's microsd card into computer for speed
3) delete the map folder under tomtom
4) copy the downloaded and unrared map files into a temp directory (just easier to copy into tomtom later on instead of having to reinsert the microsd back and forth). Copy apk just to the root of card.
5) remove wifi connectivity on tablet
6) insert card back into tablet
7) install tomtom 1.3, and wifi enabled. Tried running it without map and getting cannot connect to tomtom and terminates.
move the map files in temp back to tomtom
9) Run tomtom again and works. This is with usacanada.
Going to try it on samsung phone later on - will update.

Have trying to download the maps from EUROPE since last night:
Files 3, 7, 10 and 14 kept returning the same message:
All free download slots are in use. You can download this file immediately by upgrading to FileFactory Premium. Otherwise, please feel free to try again shortly.
I've seen this message in the past but they usually resolve itself within a few minutes, a couple hours max. But it has been over 24 hours. Any ideas? Thanks.
