I have an HTC Touch white with WM6 and I tried to install TomTom 7 (QVGA).
When the software initialize itself, he is asking me to download a free map but I got this message error (translate from the french): "this device is unable to download a free map. The download failed. Contact http://www.tomtom.com for more info."

Do you have an idea about this Pb ?

Am I doing something wrong during the instalation ?

first you must install the VGA version!! later just put a map with the right "correction" and all will be working nice...

Download a full map from here viewforum.php?f=265 . No need for the city map

For the map, there are many versions, which one is working with it (western europe) ?

For your device vga & qvga should work; test which you like better

Note: v. 9192 reducing options for compass. Options is only Enabled/Disabled.

Can somebody tell me, how run TT7 under car radio HSD 779 ? It have Windows Mobile. TT7 works, but does not find map. Mam is activated. SD card have name under this device as "SDHC". (iGo works well there )

i have a Samsung Omnia II (I8000) and I've installed the TT7 916.9192 from this topic.
Everything works fine, but I get no gps signal.
I use the following settings:
- Other GPS device
- Boudrate 4800
- COM 4 (this port is also selected in Samsung settings)
- newest GPS XTRA

for samsung omnia you need a tool for conecct gps with tomtom, I don't sure if this: gpsmod or modgps. Search in this thread.

Urgent help needed please,

I have loaded tomtom7 onto my htc diamond, and it loads up ect fine but there is no maps. I go to crack the eastern euro map i have but all the keygens cant find the meta file? I have tried easyusetools and all of them but it just wont work? If i open the meta file its just jumbled up symbls. Am i doing somthing wrong?

Any help appreciated.

I guess your map folder is not in the correct place where tomtom looks for it or your map is just not compatible with your 7.XX Navcore.
