i am still getting map not found.

I dont have Map folder. I created one and yet it still shows NO MAP

It could be the simple fact that you have downloaded the wrong type of map for your version of TomTom.

I am running TomTom 7.916.9189 on a HTC Diamond. I downloaded the UK&Ireland map v840.2562. TomTom could not find any maps. I deleted the map and downloaded UK&Ireland map v840.2563, and that worked fine.


v840.2561 - for PDA & PNA with lane guidance - bigger file, but TT7.916 doesn't handle lane guidance, so no point installing it.
v840.2562 - for PNA only - this will not work on mobile phones or PDAs (I think that this is for dedicated TomTom units)
v840.2563 - for PDA & PNA without lane guidance.

Thanks for the update, but I was only running TT7.916 and it definately didn't see the v840.2562 map.

I hate to ask a dumb a** question on my 1st post but....

I have a HTC touch pro 2 that doesn't have tom tom on it so I want to d/l it. I see a link from someone on the last page "TomTom_Navigator-7917" I try to run it on my phone but it says not enough memory. I have already read how to patch the maps, my problem is I haven't found the program that works on my stock rom.
please help the dumb newbie as I continue to read and learn from all the posts.

hi all. have a vodafone stock rom touch pro 2. i have installed the tomtom version for the htc tp2 and have all working fine except my phone can no longer turn on blutooth. anyone else have this trouble?
sorry if its already been mentioned did have a quick search and didnt find anything

Uninstal the software and do a soft reset of your phone and see if your bluetooth work.If is work try a diferent cab for your phone that dos not have bluetooth problems.

I recommend to use the newer version from date build: 9189. And the 917 is for Samsung, but if you work fine with 9189 then use it.

Are you sure you run 840.2562 map on TT 7.917?

hi there.... can anyone help? the compass arrow cannot be configured as previous versions.... the arrow always points to the magnet north location.... when driving, the arrow is pointing in the opposite direction to what we are intuitively used to when heading in W or E... is there a solution?
