Infortunately i can't make mapshare with tomtom home. I have the last version of tomtom home installed.
Should i install another one?
What can i do to make mapsharing?

You need the Iberia Mapshare Crack files to use mapshare...

TT7.910.9185 + v815 maps ( validated thru Easyusetools suite ) runs almost perfectly on an old WinCE3 PDA with 512 Meg SD...
I'm only missing the satellite bargraph...don't know why !!!

you have somewhere a file called SPGPS.ini

try to edit it using notepad:

Init1=PSRF103,02,00,00,01
Init2=PSRF103,03,00,00,01

change into:

Init1=PSRF103,02,00,01,01
Init2=PSRF103,03,00,01,01

before, make a backup of your original file, of course....

If anyone would be willing to give me a slight walkthrough with trying to get maps working on my touch pro would be greatly appreciated. I have it installed with the voices and maps folders in the storage root and I also have my unique id AB2H2AM2PA but thats as far as I get.

I have installed it on my HTC TyNT (was using version 7.450)
Installed Western and Central Europe 2 GB 815 2034
I can see and use the map but my Tomtom doesn't want to connect to my bluetooth GPS device.
It has always worked so I don't know what's going on.
Tried deleting and detecting my GPS without any problem
Does anyone have a clue ?

You need easyusetools to activate your map
Search for that. There are also many instructions in loads of threads.

I have a Medion PNA P4425 with WinCE 5.0 and I'm trying to install TT7 but it does not work
I just took the version for PNA with WinCE 5.0 from the 1st thread und put the files data.chk and TomTom Navigator.exe
in a folder TT7 on my SD card.

Now when double-clicking TomTom Navigator.exe in the explorer of my PNA I always get the following error:

Application TomTom Navigator.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.

what goes wrong and how can this be solved? I already heard that several users are working with TT7 on the same device, so it must be possible to install it. but how?

First of all let me start to say that this is a great forum! Well done!

Secondly let me say that I rather new to this... My telephone is a HTC Tytan 2 (or Kaiser).

I have downloaded TomTom 7 (7910.9185), maps for Western Europe and EasyUseTools.

I successfully installed the TomTom 7 software and got the Unique ID. However now I am stuck with the use of Easyusetools. Is there a stupids guide to installing for this?

Basically I installed Etools on my pc (d:\some dir\), copied the meta file into the insert_meta_from_Map_here dir, changed the DeviceID.txt to show my unique ID and then ran RunMeforAllAutomatic.cmd and got stuck there.

I went for option 1 and then had to type in a drive letter. I typed in C and then the whole things hangs... Help!!

What should happen after this? Or better worded: what should I do after that...

just put the *meta and .pna -file of your map folder in "insert_meta_from_map"
Then run "runmefordct" (you don't need RunMeforAllAutomatic.)
Press twice option 1

Then you get a new .dct-file which must be placed in the map folder.
Done.

Just to know if someone notice this strange behaviour with 7.910
It seems, in fact form me it is, 2 times slower to refresh the map while driving
Roughly one time per second, previous version 7 was two times more faster, i Just back to it to check
And also some lost of connection I dont have with older 7 version

Is anybody have the same problem ??

someone was trying to tell me that TT7 does not work on my device but I already
heard several success stories about TT7 running on a Medion PNA with WinCE 5.0 ...
and as there are several versions for PNAs with CE 5.0 around this should work I guess.

To those having problems registering maps

1- Copy "Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher" folder somewhere on your drive
2- Make sure the latest meta.txt file is inside the "Progs" folder and that it has the meta codes for your map. You could easily add the blowfish meta codes for the map you want into that text file, just copy the structure.
3- Add your device code to DeviceID.txt file inside the "Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher folder"
4- Copy the *.meta file from your map to the "insert_meta_from_Map_here" folder
5- Run "RunMeforDCT.cmd", choose "1" and again "1"
6- The *.dct file should be inside the "insert_meta_from_Map_here" folder
7- Copy the *.dct file to the your map folder, put map folder on your storage card.

I have added this to first post as well which should hopefully save people asking the same question.
