Yes, go to the Content folder. Make a new folder Userdata (if it doesn't exist already). There make a new folder POI. In this folder you can put new poi's.

You mean KML files?
But i would like to add points of interest while navigating in real time like in IGO8

Yes just add your kml files as instructed then go to manage pois and activate them restart and they will show up in navigation.

when you add extra_settings=1 under [Interface] at your sys.txt restart and you find Icon down left beside exit & TMC this is extra setting

I have Omnia I900.

I downloaded the Igo primo and the data.zip for 400*240 resolution

when I open Igo.exe in landscape mode, the splash screen appears then I chose the language , and press done, I see the progress bar running and by the end I got an error,

it says fatal error,
