Any help on a Mio C320? Can't get POI's working, but the maps work just fine. Tried many suggestions about editing the sys.txt and none work. I have the app loading on the internal memory and the maps and poi's on an SD card, any suggestions? Thanks.

SD card paths are very simple, looks like this:

\Primo
\Primo\map
\Primo\poi

Nitro, you dont have any chance to let TMC work on your Mio Moov, because your TMC port are shared with usb driver...

sorry to tell you this but it is the fact.
but still you can try may be you will be the first succeed with,, for example, delete your path in sys.txt [TMC], and open the data zip with winrar, dont unzip it, just open and go to config ---- devices, open the ini file of all Mio brands one after one, and copy the [TMC] to your sys.txt and notice what defrent you get by each,,, could be u got somethings,, try you will not lost any...and report here your result.

SD card paths are very simple, looks like this:

\Primo

this simple are wrong, collect Map and Poi as well other voice lang, all under file name Content.. and let your path go to content.

Sorry, I mis-typed. Here's the proper paths as they are on my SD card:

\primo
\primo\content
\primo\content\map
\primo\content\poi

voice/lang/etc directories are all under content on the internal memory where the primo app is located. There's not enough room on the internal memory for the POI's and map's thats why they are on the SD card. This setup worked fine with iGo8, but does not work with Primo (and I removed iGo8 from the device before putting primo on so there is no sharing)

Thanks

there is no need of you to let the programm 2 half, bring all under name of Primo on your SD card,, and make the path at your mio go there,,, at least you will have more space mb on your intern to let it run smoth

Correct is : Primo\content\userdata\poi put your pois in the last folder reset your device then go to manage and set them up to appear in your map.

We all must help him and keep trying but that suggestion is crazy as no Moov devices are in the zip.
The problem is the moov/navman software and how to configure the port 1 to "see" the receiver as the frequency does not move at all stuck on 00 so the Navman software is cutting it off when it is not loaded ,some people with early Moovs have the earlier software Mio type and it is working but not for Smart type unless the software can be swapped from a working moov (early type) and transferred to the later (smart) models so if anyone can upload the early Moov Software to megaload please then we can all try it,I have found the baud is 115200 for the TMC on Moovs after a thorough port check. :(
