thx for "map_header_btn.bmp" tip

Please find my amended data.zip for 400x240 (replace original). This one also corrects above problem for 'no GPS' tab top left linking to GPS reception map.

I've also kept some aspects of transparency for next street with font change.All other bits/ changes are in there too. Remember I'm only making modest changes.

I have solved the crashing problem with 3d buildings and landmarks. I just simplify the sys.txt and everything works smoothly including TTS. By the way, I have iGo8.2, iGo8.0, iGo8.3.4, iGo Amigo, and Primo all running from the same 16GB SD without any problem.

My generic Chinese device did at first.
You would have thought that autodetect would have worked on its own, but it didn't.
I put

[gps]
port=1
baud=4800

in my sys.txt file and it worked first time.
1 and 4800 are the optimum values for my device.

You will have to put the optimum values in yours.
If you don't know them experiment, by working up the port numbers starting at one.
Baud rate is not as critical although of course there is an optimum one Mine is 4800).
Good luck. 8)

Open up sys.txt file with notepad (say) and just alter the values and then click accept the changes when you try to close the file.

Nice catch. The sys.txt I used was modified from the one in my Amigo. I did not notice that extra line. I'll delete the last one. I think the main problem I had was with the dynamiccompressor or the 3d sessions.

I'm running Primo on my HD (400x240 res) using WM 6.5.5 NRG Titanium and all is OK see pics.
These are my modest efforts until the big guns (Dimka, Tomsoft, Gurjon etc.) come along :D

Am I missing something with the speed cameras?
Sure you can get different camera types up and the thing will show them and ding a warning at you (but it decides the appropriate distance).......I am used to all that and camera voices as well as well as distances that suit me.

Are people saying you can add camera voices yet?
You know the type that say for example 'Gatso.....40mph limit'.
Because there is certainly no facility within the program to do so yet is there?
I added skins to my IGO (not Primo) that had the facility within them.
:shock:

Is there a skin with this camera voice facility that works with Primo?
