sharedworld wrote:Hi,

Does anyone succeed to install it on Treo 750v with WM6 (AT&T) update?

I could install it, but then the screen is loading with the 320*240 screen resolution so it's all messed up...

If anyone knows how to change the resolution to 240*240? Thanks!

PS: I didn't tried it before on WM5, so I have no idea if it has to do with WM6, but the Treo 750v is on the compatibility list (in WM5...)

Thanks

I think i am having the same problem with my ASUS A696 :(

I tried to run iGO from flash on ASUS 639, whith a flash of about 800 megabytes. It doesn't work. It displays an error message like this: "Cannot find SD card. Please insert SD card." I believe that iGo knows from where it has been installed, and it is written in the registry. Try to install iGO from flash, maybe will work. Vagus knows better than me ...

No, you can NOT run maps from internal flash memory. You can run the program (which I do), but your maps HAVE to be on the SD card. For example, I have h1945 with 15 mB of internal flash memory (it's different from ROM and RAM memory). So, I installed iGo program along with the basemap and waterways map into the flash memory, and then made a folder named "iGo" on the SD card, and another folder inside latter named "maps". All needed maps go into folder "maps" on the SD card. This way you have iGo program always on your PDA, and change your maps accordind your need and the SD card size.

It works. Installthe program from Flash. Unrar the attached rar lile and Import the registry.

This one is for Asus A639! Where the Flash is seen as a SD card.

In fact, you can put Igo on any RAM by moving the Igo folder to the main memory. Here is an example:
Move Igo folder from SD card to CE:\Program Files
Create new Igo folder on SD card and Move Maps directory to \Storage Card\Igo
Put any maps you want in that folder.
Edit the registry to reflect the changes, in this case as in this reg file:

Now you can run Igo from the today plugin :D

I don't have enough free RAM to try it - but it runs fine on emulator. I wonder if it's faster this way.

Run iGo from any RAM is not a problem. Run iGo's maps from any RAM is the problem. By default, iGo on any PDA looks for SD card to use maps. You have to play with the registry to change this. By the way, as you see from my previous post, I do this from internal flash memory. It IS faster, let me tell ya!

Hello,

I searched and searched but I couldn't find someone with a problem similar to mine. I have the june 18 version of iGO 2006 plus, on a fujitsu-siemens n560. When putting the pda in standby mode, and then returning from standby, iGO will sometimes continue to work, but most times it will hang or just exit to desktop, which is very frustrating :) Anyone had the same problem?

Thanks.

As far as I know, you are not supposed to put the PPC in standby when Igo is running. On my machine it always hangs. Igo developers respons is that you should always exit b4 standbuy. When you resume, the program remembers your route anyway. It's not ideal, but that's the way it is...

with a CF GPS card, PDA freezes if you don't turn-off my pda without exiting iGO.
exit iGO -> then turn-off PDA

It works fine with iGO 2006(not "SE"/"Plus") - I can turn it off and on as much as I want. But I can't use the latest maps in that one. :(

I have been reading the Forum for the past 2 days and I am totally confused. All I want to do is replace existing (old) map on my C310X. I had no problem finding new Maps, the rest is very murky. Most of the links are more than 6 months old and do not work!

I do not want to reinstall the entire software. How do I unlock the new maps after replacing them. I am getting "Some of the map files are locked, please visit ..." Some of the instructions said simply replace the existing "license.db", non of the "license.db" I found worked, I am getting "HardwareIDchanged". Please HELP!

Thanks!!!
