You have to download one and rename it to data.zip and change with the original one...

Hi guys. I am brand new at this forum. So far, I managed to read probably 100 pages about GPS and the problems some of you had.

So, I downloaded and installed iGo 2006 and the only working map on my MDA Vario II is Croatia. Every other map which I upload is locked and I cannot open it. A fellow at one Croatian forum told me that it is because I downloaded it to my MDA by a USB cable and that I should use Bluetooth instead. It didn't help.

I am currently using iGO Navigation Software 2006, May 30 2006. The license says that it is an iGO 2006 Europe with an iGO 2006 Summer update. The only working map is "Hrvatska 2006.05 Navigo sistem d.o.o.".

My questions for you are:

1. Am I using up to date iGo or should I install iGO2006 plus? If so, can you please provide me with the link?
2. If this is up to date software, how can I unlock all the maps downloaded from the links provided at the topic "The GPS Guide Thread of Latest Maps"?
3. Is there a new license file which I should upload to be able to use all the downloaded maps?

Thnx for the help!
Nino

7-digit postcode not working for me with igo 2006 plus and UK maps. Any reason for this? Can only get 4/5 digit to work.

heyyy tripio!

Don t let me look back in this forum, but if you want, you can find here the right I GO.It is 2006 plus!Read carefuly, and you will find the right licence file.It is very much needed,if you want to have all the maps in the word working without a problem!
Look at this page everything what conserns I GO,and it will be pretty ok!
I gO plus, and all map licence file!Replace the 'all map licence file with the original one,and don t copy the maps, and the program files over activsync.Only copy onto your SD card!Than install. The maps in the map folder, the licence on the Sd card,in the same folder as the I GO!THis is basic. The rest is easy:-))Download the new maps,or at least something from 2007!
I started like you!It was 2 years ago. After many help from wonderful forum members,I have nno problem.I have 2003SE jam!

The rapidshare links are down - can anyone upload this onto rapidshare please. I've got MioMap but i wanted to see the difference between this and Miomap, also can anyone confirm that I can use the same map (UK) i use for MioMap on IGO? - I've seen a lot of posts mentioning both programs are they any differences and which is the best for use when driving?

any help would be appreciated!

Helios,

Thank you very much for taking the time for replying to probably the same questions asked for 100th time. :) I really do appreciate it.

I was already advised not to transfer the maps over activsync but over Bluetooth. Since my computer is giving me a headache with Bluetooth connection, I downloaded the maps to my other cell phone over USB and then transmitted them over Bluetooth to my MDA. It didn’t help. :(

This is the only way for me to transfer the files (license, maps,…) while I do not have a card reader. And if it worked, it would take me ages to transfer all the maps while Bluetooth is not fast enough (only Italian map is over 125MB!!!).

There are numerous links and it is very difficult to find working ones. It would be very helpful if somebody would copy only then here. I do not know if this is too much to ask.

In meantime, I will go through this topic once in order to find iGO 2006 PLUS and the license file. As far as I have seen so far, all the maps are already available for download at on of the sticky topics. I already downloaded most of them.

When i've been using this, i've realized that it's kind of slow. The pointer moves but slowly and laggishly. How can i fix that? Do i change the baud rate or what?

Edit: Also, how can i view the forecast through iGO? Where do i get that option? I saw it on TomTom, but not on here.

Edit 2: Can somebody please upload the andy skin and more skins? thanks

Edit: I just upgraded to the June update. However when i go to the about, it still says March 26. Is that ok or no?

Edit 2: where do i find the exe for update 3? i have the iGO folder in my storage card directory but i can't run the program because there is no .exe!?
