I too have been trying this on My Mio C310x and not successful. I have tried all combinations of data.zip and igo.exe available. Still nto successful.
The most recent being that using the igo.exe from magic.rar.
My current situation is that, when I run igo.exe from magic.rar I get to language selecetion screen and it shuts off automatically in 5 seconds.
If any of you experts have successfully used igo SE Plus on Mio C310x , Please post your installtion. Like which version of Igo Se Plus. provide location if poosible. What other settings need to be done and which license.db and igo.db files to be used. I have been using the maps and igo.db and license.db from mio C310x. I have tried license.db from the original igo se Plus too.

If you carefully read what I written, you will see, that Slovenia from that link is around 600 Kb, and Slovenia from this link

is over 2.500 Kb. Also Greece from this link you mentioned is around 4,500 Kb, and other Greece map is over 6.300 kb. Same with Andorra, Croatia or Czech Republik. Only new Poland map which is over 37 Mb, and guys from Poland already said here, that has a lot of mistakes, shouldn't be replaced.

My idea is that we have to use maps from the link you mentioned, and than to update this few selective maps, which are obviously newer.

It works in my case. There are oneway error in 3D view (in 2d view, there are not).

not all A701's have the problem
it is likely that, there is not a problem with a701 owners in official forum

Vagus, I still have the same soft-reset issue, the "magic" does not work in my case ... but , I got a workaround: in the case of power-off and power-on instead of soft-reset everything is ok.

I saw some A701 users complaining about this issue on other forums, and they might use purchased versions (I am still not sure though), so it could be a problem with the original igo plus too ... will see.

i have tried the "new" igo my way 2006 plus for a day now and have found out the following :

on the motorway exitnumbers are not shown (previous version did show)

[exitnr] was between brackets -- now it is not shown

problem with own poi - poi saved in new created map all shift after program is started again back to the map my poi - no name map

these are the first to small problems i encounterd -- no dramatic things, but still it's not an improvement

The connection has timed out

it is slow (for me took approx 5 minutes to connect then started to download, and use a download agent like flashget or reget), but works - just downloaded an hour ago
