The way that LZF called this threat igo8 "Pre-release demo" is completely correct. After some days of testing on the road i can say this:
Dear all, this is really a version for demostration purposes. Don't trust it for "serius" navigation work. It has bugs, like often for no reason, send you out of route and then back again. Play with it, but if you have an appointment, for example, to an unknown adress, use another programm. I repeat: Don't trust it for serius navigation. It can lead to dangerous situations.
It's a nice demo, but no more than that... We must wait for the final release...

I totally disagree! This Demo works absolutely fine for me! The only thing wrong here is that the maps are old and some features are missing... i tested it enough to say that there must be something wrong with your hardware....

Hi !

I also have to say that this version works great for me!!!
The main aspect is on navigation and navigation is precise. The voice-guidance is much better than in igo plus.
In my area (germany) the map is better than the one before and especially the routing is much better!!!

OK, speedcams don't work.

And I can't say anything about the 3d feature cause there are not very much hills around here. The buildings are a gimmick.
But who needs 3d and buildings anyway?

IMO
IGO8 is the best navigation system I have tested so far and if they can manage to implement phoneme it is perfect for me!

I think the same, I've use this demo two times and I think that it's only for play and no important trip....

Hello, meanwhile I lost the overview. Is there the current version cracked? Thus it in February does not end.

You are right it will end in febuary, but I know by now, that I will be waiting for the release. I know for me that this 'teaser'-version is working great and that I don't care about the 3d and buildings.
For me it is important that they will fix some minor bugs (don't all navigation sustems have them?!?) and the speedcam issue.
There is an improvement to the maps and the voice so the best navigation system igo plus is definatly getting better with igo8.

I can't wait for the final release!

If you use search you find all software you nead ( on Full releases). But after you paid to create an account (after login) you will find nothing. I paid and I regretted.
