The way that LZF called this threat igo8 "Pre-release demo" is completely correct. After some days of testing on the road i can say this:
Dear all, this is really a version for demostration purposes. Don't trust it for "serius" navigation work. It has bugs, like often for no reason, send you out of route and then back again. Play with it, but if you have an appointment,for example, to an unknown adress, use another programm. I repeat: Don't trust it for serius navigation. It can lead to dangerous situations.
It's a nice demo, but no more than that... We must wait for the final release...

I think the same, I've use this demo two times and I think that it's only for play and no important trip....

Yes, I have to agree with both of you guys, this version is very buggy and not usable for everyday use. I can see no reason why not to wait a month or two till final version is out. I use E-ten X500. Map is not displayed untill nav destination is set, sometimes during following route it disappears too. Sometimes 3D view is switched to 2D without a reason. Some settings cannot be changed/saved. So I'm staying with TT6.

i have created the folder CONTENT\phoneme and put the file for my city (rome) but i can't hear any difference with this files. someone have succesfully used the phoneme?

How is this working for you:

In my Asus A636 iGO8 opens in landskape by default, but not as I want. I have to rotate it for 180 degrees.
When I open "Set Screen Orientation in Expert mode settings (Settings > System > Set Screen Orientation...) default selection is Portrait (aldo my iGO is already is in landscape). I need the first landscape selection. When I select it and click Yes for restart, nothing happens.
