iGo 8 is possible run in 320x320 resolution?

Try this exe-file, it rotates the screen 1/4 lap... Just do it before you start the software you want to run in a diffrent screen-mode...

Just unrar and copy to SD-card

I Have IGO8 on my MIO320 and works ok except that the nearest POI is 100km away although I put the MI POI file(6MB) in the right folder!!! but I can see buildings in Detroit (I have only USA-MI map). I downloaded also the US DEM files in 3 parts. I unrar the first one fine but when I tried the 2nd one looks likes it has the same name and wants to replace the first one. What I am doing wrong here?
question 1: why I can't see more POI?
Question 2: How can I unrar all 3 dem files since the unrar to the same name?

I have an O2 Atom Life. I have installed the i-go software and it runs - I cannot get my BT GPS to work with it (I have a TomTom SiRF III BT GPS). The GPS receiver works fine with TomTom. I have tried all com ports and baud rates to no success. Grateful for any tips / advice.

Sorry, i missunderstand. I don know if you can edit the "sys.txt" i have unstalled IGO8 from my unit so i can't play with it, but just try...

When i tested IGO8 i had problem with speedcams. If i had a speedcam file it got REAL slow to start. Check how big the org "SpeedcamUpdates.spud" is. When i had 0kb it got fast...
When i had 24kb in it IGO8 got realy slow to start...
I think you can try rename it to se if it get faster in the start...

tecko : I only have the france map, at least for igo. Other maps for other gps softwares are in other directories.

1000mbit : You're right I did rename the speedcam file and igo started as fast as igo6.

by the way, my device don't have button for tmc activated.

I don't know about the POI's but you can open the .rar for the 1st DEM file and drag the DEM file to your computer. Or, right-click on the first .rar file and select "extract here". Either way, it will automatically extract the 2nd and 3rd parts.

How did you get iGo8 to run on your C320 without rebooting every time you turn the Mio back on?

nicosa, yes that's the size of the US DEM file. Thanks for the tip on Miopocket. I'll give it a try. I've been using Stopword because Miopocket has a lot extras that I don't need.
