If the Hebrew-language forum pocketpcfreaks can be trusted, this upcoming week the IGO8 Israel is to be released finally. Since one owner (to the best of knowledge) is Israeli and one is Hungarian, it may be a sign that everything is ready

Yes, I think there is no device on the market yet that has 128MB of RAM free even the HTC Shift doesn't have so many!

Obviously this was my first port-of-call but the "where to buy" link goes to a company that doesn't actually sell igo 8 in the uk.

Ah, that has really cleared it up for me then.........all I need to do is rely on a little speculation, mixed with some hear-say and learn to guess instead of asking a simple question that required a simple yes or no answer.
