Anybody know how to make igo8 to scan actively for radio frequencies (TMC) ?
Mine just sticks with one frequency, and that one does not have any TMC info. Autotuner is ofcourse on.
If i manually search for a frequency then im able to find some with TMC info.

you need to add this rows to the sys.txt (in "(root)\program files\igo8\", not sys.txt at card):

[folders]
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

and put your igo.exe on sdcard on folders igo8/

That rows are in the both sys.txt and I put the Igo.exe to the card, but nothing changed...

Were you able to get the show_gps_pos to work so you don't see a dot of your actual gps position?

Or figure out how to not show the city name instead of the street name of your next manuver?

I wasn't able to get either of these to work with Igo 8 like I was able with Mio V3.3.

Thanks.

ooch168 wrote:That's wierd. I placed your skin file bols.zip under \storage card\iGO8\CONTENT\SKIN. I can choose it under settings/menu/skin to enable it as portrait 320_240. But I do not see the skin as shown above in your screenshot. I have 2 other skins which stored at the same directory and works fine. Any clue what I did wrong?

Maybe you use the first on that i had problems with using the same way.
Try this one instead:

this one works on my mio710. Mine is 320x240 landscape.
It showed up under setting - menu - skin and I could select it

however, the button on the left hand side were on top of each other, menu button and detour button in particular

Hi, I hope someone can help me... I've got a 2 GB sandisk extreme III sd card. The manufacturer says it's read/write speed is about 20MB/s. In my case it's about maximum 4 MB/s with USB 2.0 reader. Maybe I formatted it with wrong cluster size. Does someone know which is the best way to format it? Or any way to achieve that speed...

Installed the iGo_8_PNA_Final_English_TTS on Mio 310cx but cannot get Susan's voice to work. I've just unziped and i'm running the igo directly from the folder so there is nothing for me to un-install or re-install so how can i get the TTS to work?

I need help with iGo8 on P3600 (trinity).
After the successful installation the program starts but then gets stuck or is very very slow.
I'm not sure if I should have something special in my sys.txt file or if anything else is causing it.

Any suggestions and help will be appreciated.

Thank you :)

Feedback:
AMAZING APPLIACTION!!!
bad point: request a lot of memory and there is no TMC over GPRS as with Garmin or Route66. Last but not least, Navteq maps would be better for France.
But, it respond very quicly when recalculation is needde.
There is TTS and I really appreciate it, and my wife as well :)
It is skinable. I prefer the first link with transparency to bols but both are pretty.
It works on my little HTP P3300, so it should really be working on a plenty of PDAs.
I don't see any other problem but listed one... And other applications are definitly far behind... But Route66v8 that I haven't tested.

That's all folkes... Again, thank you very much for your continual support over this forum. ;)
