Installed the iGo_8_PNA_Final_English_TTS on Mio 310cx but cannot get Susan's voice to work. I've just unziped and i'm running the igo directly from the folder so there is nothing for me to un-install or re-install so how can i get the TTS to work?

I have the same problem on a Navigon 7100. Posted in the voices thread, but haven't gotten a reply.

Even with show_gps_pos=0 but I'm still seeing the blue dot showing my actual position. Maybe it has something to due with the fact that I'm using version 29000 on my PNA.

Overview: copy the file to iGO8\content\speedcam or miomap\miotc\pois. Make sure there are no other files in the folder.
It will take a while to initialize (approx. 5 minutes).

Why do you want to get rid of the blue dot? Most people were trying to get it back when show_gps_pos stopped working in MioMap 3.3 .

Anyway, try to put show_gps_pos=0 in different sections of SYS.TXT. If it does not work in [debug] section, try to add it to [map] section, or [navigation] section. Maybe they moved it...

As for hiding the city name, I could not find the solution yet. The old parameters used to turn it off in MioMap 3.3 - showcitynamedistance and direction_cityname- simply no longer exist in iGo8.exe. The FireFly script function (that could be used in skin scripts) SETSHOWCITYNAMEDISTANCE doesn't exist either... For whatever reason iGo developers got rid of all that stuff ...

Thats so wierd, I had it installed last week and there was no stutter. I did a hard reset 2 days ago reinstalled eveything and now I have a stutter. Same miniSD card. I'm not about to switch up my 8gig card
