Hi, I have problem with iGO8 on my Asus 696. When I try to make it work, I see black screen.
When I touch the screen, I hear that iGO is working, but I see nothing. I try all what I found in this forum,
but doesn’t work. Someone can help me, please?

I try it, but it's not working.

Because you edit the wrong sys.txt (in your sd card)! Add this:
[rawdisplay]
driver=gdi[/quote]
(your device internal memory/program files/igo8/sys.txt)
and will work

There's a sys.txt file in the iGO8 folder on SD card and in the PDA's iGO8 program folder, were the .exe file ist installed. Try to put this entry in both sys.txt files.

How can I integrate a mp3 player in igo8?
I have naviplayer (or mp3 player from medion) running in background but when igo has something to say the music does not stop

I saw miomap2008 has a built-in mp3 player... is it possible to extend the original igo8 skin to support a player?

how can i set the maps for 3d (include building, house and etc in 3d)?

Can somone here please help, i have install igo8 on my hp HX2790 and use Amaryllo Bluetooth /gps/TMC and the program work SUPER with igo8, but my TMC says all the time No TMC Signal / Testing.... No tmc signal ( i use auto-tuner)
Hope some one can help me to get it to work, maby i did somthing wrong

I have try Gpsgate now and it´s not working
i know that igo8 support my Gps with build in TMC ( http://www.amaryllo.com/almooj/faq/view-47.html )

i have try anything in my sys tekst ( program files /igo and not the one on Sd-card )
My Gps have a Tmc lamp and when i turn the gps on Tmc lamp is Active, but when i turn igo on and the screen says Starting the tmc lamp get Not active

from start i install igo ( work 100 %) i use com 8 ( get verry fine signal ) and my tmc says No tmc hardware Whidt this Sys tekst

You need to download the buildings for your country and place the files in /content/building

3d-buildings are only available for few cities at the moment. Like Berlin, Duesseldorf etc. Today I was navigating through Duesseldorf/Germany and there were a few buildings in the center of Duesseldorf visible. But it was not that great adventure. Small transparency of buildings and it was not quite clear what building it should be . So not that great feature at the moment.

Yes, I have tooked your project and than I have removed any mistakes by myself, I have changed and added a lot of other things (showing speedcams, free driving modus, changed the fonds) and I have also included elements from other skins (teddyB from pdamill).

And be sure that´s the normal way by skining!

So is now your part on my skin a small part and any time I have also sayed the my skin is based at your basis. I think with this I have enough recongized your part at my skin.

You are doing a great job tommy.

But still i think its lame to use someone elses idea and make it your own. The basic layout and design of the cockpit-view is the one i made and is also what makes the skin great.

Its better to do a new skin from scratch instead because there would be more nice skins to select from. Now it is my skin and the one you have done further changes to, but still they look the same.

I am doing new skins, but i will just use them for my self and not share them because i want them to stay the way i do them.

So lets see some original ideas for new skins.

right click and save as has the same summary as before ...
maybe this is not the right forum to ask, but how can I change my referrer? How to tell the domain, that I'm not from Germany? Because actually there is a judical fight between Navigon and Navngo, that says in Germany it is not allowed to sell Navngo product because the name is extreme similiar to Navigon. It is absolut ridiculous !!! So they block all tries to reach domains by navngo coming from Germany

Still need a password for de-zip rapidshare file, will offer 10 Warez$ for this.

This is an excerpt from Nav N Go's iGO8 FAQ from their site:

Q: I have ASUS A696 PDA. I see black screen with four dots in the corners after upgrade. What can I do?
A: Open the sys.txt (Program Files/iGO8 folder) on the PDA, and add two lines at the end:
[rawdisplay]
driver=gdi

So if this doesn't work there is a problem with the cracked version.
