I have a Aaus A696 an i have a problem with power managent : even if i have "backlight always on" and car charger it's conected after 1-2 minutes backlight goes down. Igo 2006 works fine but igo8 doesn't.
Any suggestion ?

This is exactly, what happen on my device. They probably right. I think, I must wait for the new version. At this time I stay with MIOMAP v.3.3. Its work fine.

one thing that i˙ve notticed is that in route calculation is option scienic view, in other skins it is not an option (as much as i˙ve seen) is this something you˙ve found somewhere or is it normal option?
btw this option calculate better route, for those i˙ve tryed, and i vould like that when it˙s booting that picture with C4 is origin. Igo picture NHF

The A686 is on that list and the only significant difference between these two models is, that the A696 has got a faster processor.

Also the A696 is mentioned in the Nav N Go's FAQ -> viewtopic.php?p=251751#p251751

to driving direction in 2D, well is possible

plan your route begin it at 3D,
tab down , you see 4 new symbols, the secont right them is driving direction in 2D

delete the tmc part out of your sys.txt
every one is messing with the sys.txt..and propably has different settings in iGO itself soemtimes
(not sure if that causes problems)

what settings did you use in gpsgate?

Layout is crappy. Perhaps it is not functional. Needs some attention...

EDIT: doesn´t work in PNA version perhaps newer releases.
No group variable is set in ui script. There is none.

Somewhere in this topic (it grows fast ) I stated that this release works great on a HP rz3715 but not on a Mio Digiwalker 168. Yesterday I got it working on my Mio 168. The problem was that I had too much other software installed on my PDA, now after uninstalling all rubbish software I got it working perfectly. So you need a lot of free memory...

I have a Mitac Mio 168 and I recently changed my way of using it, after being fed up with the horrible performance of TomTom v6. I now do a hard reset and then install only one major app with nothing else at all. I then make a backup image of everything using Sprite Backup or Spb Clone, so I can quickly swap between images when I need to use a major app. I now find that TomTom v6 runs superbly well, very smooth and very quick.

Nice to know that iGO v8 works on the Mio 168 as I feel TomTom may not support it much longer...

WAW... I cannot try but I will do asap.
And does this alert only on the way or all around?
Can also this be set up somehow?
