Well...

My reply was to your comment of

almost 100.000 camera's in europe?
i doubt that..lol
it propably include old mobile cams

it will be a crime to drive with that, because you will get plenty of false alarms.

The most accurate and up to date database of fixed and mobile speed cameras in GB contains a total of 13235, looking at the database link you supplied its showing only 5116, thus if you do the maths and see the % that http://www.scdb.info/en/software-statistik/ is inaccurate by in the UK, and then see what you get when you apply the same multiplier to the rest of their data making additional allowances for the fact that the UK has a land area of only 93000 square miles...

I have no wish to prove you wrong... just maybe a bit harsh in your criticism 8)

And the result is.....this large database of speedcams contains fixed and mobile speedcams. Am I wrong?

Ok last offtopic remarks
criticism is always hard for the reciever. But again..realism is not a bad habbit.

Code: Select allThe most accurate and up to date database of fixed and mobile speed cameras in GB contains a total of 13235

yes it is big because mobile speedcams are in it and they can't be accurate (because they are mobile)
Region - Country Status Type Number
UK - United Kingdom Active: Gatso 3539
UK - United Kingdom Active: Mobile 7001
UK - United Kingdom Active: Temporary 13
UK - United Kingdom Active: Specs 340
UK - United Kingdom Active: Redlight 1000
UK - United Kingdom Active: Truvelo 331
UK - United Kingdom Active: Monitron 173
UK - United Kingdom Active: RedSpeed 28
UK - United Kingdom Pending: Mobile 810
(which shows my database for static camera's come pretty close)

As said post what you want...we appreciate it for sure, but accept replies that don't agree. As some one said...this is a forum.

So just pick a database and use it. Enough choice for everyone.

IGo 8 Multipoint Route Planning using POI's
I would appreciate anyone's help as I have not been able to figure out how to make a multipoint route using any/all of IGOs installed POIs and my personal POIs.

It would seem that when I want to set a POI as a waypoint I cannot see through the different menus "ALL" the POI's, I can only see those which are close to the Cursor or near the GPS point or near the Destination Point or near the current route.

Can someone tell me how I can see ALL the Map (and my Personal) POIs so I can enter which ever I want as waypoints to my Route??

first you have to set a destination through search.
then you can do a search again for a poi (along route/around cursor for free selection on map) and then select the poi and select "insert as via point"

In menu>route> adjust route you can then change the order of the via points

sys.txt is the same from the bigine :?:
now i need some time to delete all and start all over again :?

EDIT: well i˙ve puted the first vesion that has allways worked and on the start up it freeze on MAINVIEW INIT

Yes, i know you have to set a destination first to get a route but can you set a POI as a Destination?? and if so how can i veiw "ALL" the POIs on the map in order to set anyone i want as the destination?? (-right now the program will only allow me to see the POIs of those which are close to the Cursor or near the GPS (last) point or near the Destination Point or near the current route.

mobile speedcams are in it and they can't be accurate (because they are mobile)

True ...

But ...

I think its better to be warned of a position that mobile cameras have been seen, rather than ignoring them and suffering the consequences.

Sorry if this topic was solved, but its hard to find the answer in this 148 pages thread...
Is a solution for speed alarm sound, to make it different or to reduce the distance alarm ?
In my Airis T620 the gps position in igo8 is not very precise, it is the same for anybody else ?
Thanks, great job this thread !
