To guys having problems getting it going,

delete this from the sys.txt

and copy this below to replace it

adjust the ( resolution_dir= ) and [rawdisplay] for the resuloution of your device if needed,
and adjust the gps setting for your devive, ie port 1, or 2, or ? and baud 4800, 9600, 57000, or ? to suit.

I do have 2 problems, I would really appreciate help please. I will definitely give wrz to anyone willing to help.

1. When iGo is running, there is a constant ticking sound (like the seconds on a clock). How can I turn this off?

2. I can't seem to find a Major Roads map for USA. Does anyone have a Major Roads map, or know how I could work around not having one, without having to install each state map individually (rapidshare will not allow me to download so many files).

I get "Program application database cannot be found. Please insert original application SD card"

rule08, and others that tried other badly working versions before. You have to delete all IGO8 keys in the registry, if uninstall dosn't help. (I used Resco explorer to do that: find "igo8" without quotes, and delete all keys related to it). Then use the "lite" version in the first post (reset and install again). This time it will work. Follow the instructions in the first post.

Working on my Qtek S200 but after a while its getting slower and then freeze for a few seconds... After that it works again

Hi all, i'm testing the pna version, settings are ok but if i choose map button on the screen the pna reset when i choose 400x240 with vga=1 but if i choose 320x240 with vga=1 it's ok?

with version 8.0.0.31442 i have imported speedcam with the spud file.i see the speedcam on map but it not show anithing and not sound when a arrive near the speedcam. I have set the option,but this not work for me.
some problem if i create a new speedcam in this version?
Someone have successfully used the speedcam?

yeap. speedcams.txt put in speedcams folder it's exactly as in igo 2006.
You can add and delete speecams and pois by clicking somewhere, options, add camera or poi. then click respective poi or camere, go to edit, delete
I have visual and sound warning when I get close to cameras only when driving with gps signal. when without gps signal, on slow simulation mode, shows only locations of cameras but not visual warning of camera's speed and audio alert. to turn on these feartures, go to setings, alert, speedcams alert, and there you have options. I use when aproaching
