Is anybody going to pay attention to poor little ol' me?
No matter what I try, whenever I try to install any version of iGO I get the message that iGO is already installed and do I want to reinstall it, or that a newer version is available on the SD card, do I want to install it. No matter whether I tap on yes or no nothing at all happens.
With the latest version that JetMouse released - and ALL my praise to JetMouse for all his releases - I at first got a regular installation screen asking me if I trust the source etc.
HELP!

You may also:
1. don't copy the 2577 directory to your SD at all (make sure no old ones left there)
2. rename the application.dat to iGO8.exe
3. click the iGO8.exe and enjoy (no installation at all)
4. drive safely

Today Nav-N-Go updated IGO through Content Manager to
8.0.0.49545
from 30.07.2008
Also reported that there are updates for voices, menus and USA DEM.
Thanks to Jetmouse.
I find update in the english voice. Version from Jetmouse only with 2 voice, and 1 language.
Maybe somebody can upload all (full) updated content folder without maps and poi:
voice, language and etc.

Only patch, please replace igo.exe and data.zip
Compressed (only 320x240 / 240x320)
http://rapidshare.com/files/141416706/compressed.rar.html
Normal (all's definitions)
http://rapidshare.com/files/141417366/normal.rar.html
You can obtain more speed of execution, with this line in section [debug] of your sys.txt :
[debug]
cache=8192
enjoy !
First of all ... JM Respect for your great work!
tichuiche Thanks for the patch but ...
I get error : " Failed to open file : \ui_igo8\400_234\loading.bmp exiting application"
on my mio c250 with both patches ...
seems there is no such folder in data.zip.
any clue how to bypass this?
Edit : Ok i've fixed that by adding
[device]
type="MIOC250"
to the SYS.txt file .
Thanks

You have to define in your sys.txt another solution which exists in your data.zip or you can copy the 400_234 folder of another data.zip in the new one.
