road test:
I just came back from a short test drive throw neighborhood. I have experimented 2 variants:
1) destination: Oed- Austria (about 1100 km); driving a few blocks in my little town. Igo recalculates very fast.
2) destination: home ( about 1.5~2 km), I driven among the blocks, always avoiding the street that I had to go. Igo recalculates instant and the voice continuously guided me left, right, that at a time already overlap the orders if the maneuver was too short.
I use ultraskin 4.9, and the recalculation is set at 1 second


Later edit: sry for my bad english. Yes it still has the soft reset error on mio 701.

Guys, do you ever read the topic's posts before making requests? JM already warned you regarding PNA devices. I really do not understand why do you want to mess up a such great release instead to use the proper release for your device.

I copied OCN8 wakeup-fix (V 44902, Jul2 2008)to the Mio C230 device, and it works, without soft-resetting or exiting, after turning-off the device.

I agree.It would be great to have a version without the "SD card check" which forces the software to exit on wakeup, like the "patch" on the previous version. (for PNA devices).

hi, i've trying the jul 30 version ,seems to have problem with speedcam alert sound (no sound when approaching.....) have u this problem too?
Good news ,dont know why but my internal tmc is now detected with this version but it's impossible to change frequency...

post your device.
About speedcams, make sure u got them activated from settings. If u use a recent version of ultraskin, make sure u have /igo8/AUDIO folder.

my device is an LG N10 with tmc receiver inbuilt ,it comes with destinator initially (tmc works fine with destinator(no possibilty to set the frequency manualy but it scan automatic and stop when it detect a frequency.),i use the version of igo post on the first page and speedcam alerts dont work with this version (no sound on approaching) ...igo is set on simple alert ,i thing there is no skin used ,with an other version of igo ,speedcam alerts are ok on approaching :sound only if the speed is over the limit...with the "old" version of igo tmc hardware is not detected, with the jul version tmc is detected but there is no scan ....
(sorry for my english....)

I can't say anything about TMC, but for speedcams, first of all install ultraskin from here in download section

It's not a bug. Without any skin you may have "beep" or "ding" alerts from audio folder in your data.zip.

ocn8 wake-up fix, does nothing bad(doesn't reset) after exiting program, on an unlocked Mio C230. It just returns to desktop.

I read on Nav N Go official site that this July 30th update has support for 240x240 resolution too. I don't see this reolution inside data.zip. I downloaded PNA version. I don't need this but I remeber there was a people who need it. So is this data.zip also new one?
