kishkush gave me the following advice last week, and the problem now works fine.

You may also:
1. don't copy the 2577 directory to your SD at all (make sure no old ones left there)
2. rename the application.dat to iGO8.exe
3. click the iGO8.exe and enjoy (no installation at all)
4. drive safely

I still have one question though. How do I get the program to appear in Programs? At the moment I have to go into File Explorer to find the program and run it.

@simkin - At the end of the video it clearly shows what seems to be a TomTom skin. I would bet it's the GlikoGliko skin (version ???) unless someone else has made/modified a TomTom skin that we don't know about.

Not, it is not your receiver, I have the same problem.

My conclusion is that this software does not function with Axim51v.

Or then with a configuration strict minimum, and then that does not have any more interest.

I am also interested for an example of sys.txt, specific for Axim

Im not sure what you guys mean by jump around, I am runing an axim x51v with lennysh rom L11 6.1
and a GPT-800 bluetooth receiver I dont see jumping, can you guys be more clear as to what you see.

Also after I start igo8 on the axim, I have about 6.5mb left, I use the stock skin, and do not use tts,
it will out of memory error with tts, as for the sys.txt, its just the few lines that igo8 creates,
nothing added.

Hi... v8.0.0.49545 is working on my chinese noname pna bu gps signal strength is low and signal constantly lost and found. There is no problem like this on Igo 2006 or Route66.
What can I do for fixing? TIA

turn off smart zoom i think.

press the map and hit one of the three icons on the bottom that show up. the right one enables smartzoom.

does not work. And besides - I like the smart zoom feature.
I am digging inside the skin files now, and I just hope it is not hardcoded into the application itself.
There must be a way, come on....

You have to copy NNGCxNav.dll to your Windows directory on your device. And it's not a reason to use autorun on your HTC P3300. Try to copy all files to SD Card and run IGO8.exe
