Simple........ Open sys.txt from the Igo folder in notepad. Scroll down until you see this:
[gps]
port=1 This you could try and change to 2 (Two) and even 7
baud=4800
source="nmea"

See how you go.

hello everybody! I'm very new to all this gps thingy, and I need help. I got a chinese gps unit with a 4.3" screen and i've loaded iGo 8 v.54000, replacing the old iGo 2006 that it came with. Problem now is I can't get a full screen display. Everything else seems to work. What resolution do I have to use and where do I download it from? Thank you in advance.

Best regards

Enter these lines to sys.txt:

[rawdisplay]
class="landscape"
screen_x=480
screen_Y=272

If you get error during loading, look for an other data.zip that contains the correct resoultion.

Hi guys out there :)

just a little question: Could please someone explain, what is new with Version x54000? Right now I know, that x49545 is the latest official Update, but this brings me to my question: What Version is x54000? Inofficial Update from the developers or is it a selfmade Version from Hobby programmers without any connection to NavNGo?

Would be pretty nice, if someone could explain this issue to me :)

I recently bought a ts 8600 pnd.It uses a modified version of i-go8 (8.0.0.33136). It has only the folder content in the sd card. I tried the full pna solution posted in the first post, modifying the sys.txt found in the gps device (not in sd), but the startup stucks at APP INIT. Does anyone knows why?

Thank you.

Does anyone know how to stop "Route recalculation" from being said? (my device usually stutters when it says this and it is very annoying...). I've found how to remove the "ding" before it says "route recalculation", but I've searched all over and can't find how to remove the words "route recalculation" themselves. I had once found this somewhere and had made the change to my sys.txt file, but then lost the file and didn't have a backup, and now I can't find it any more... Would very much appreciate if anyone could remind me how to do this. Thanks :-)

Hi there,

its easy to do. open up the contents directory in igo, then open voice, then open up the voice zip that you are using (Voice_TTS-loq-Eng-uk-f1) . you will find a file called info.ini , open that with notepad and edit.
