Just wondered how you delete this version fully?

As I used the uninstall shortcut within programmes, but every time I insert my SD card, it asks if i want to install it.

I can't see where the files might be on the SD card.

Anyone able to help out please?

Do you have a 2577 folder left on your SD card? If so, delete this folder. Might be, the folder is hidden? Try that with a card reader at your PC.

Does anyone know how to configure the program to face the direction the arrow is facing, instead of always facing north.

Thanks

Could anyone give me a link to the 8.0.0.54000 version? I'd need it for my HTC Touch HD since they say this is the only version that works with it. A skin would also be appreciated.

Jetmouse

I installed on diamond touch and it work beautifully. The only problem is When I select a poi and see its information the phone icon or phone number is light gray so I can not press it to call the number. Is there a fix for that

Thanks

atlas1321,

try adding the following into your SYS.TXT:

Code: Select all[phone]
driver="TAPI"
exe_path="\Windows\cprog.exe"
win_name="Phone"

I have been running iGo8 from a SD Card fine. I have a new PND that seems to want the Navi program in internal flash.

What are the minimum files must be with iGo8.exe and what can be on the SD card? The only way to get different software on the Nokia 500 is a software update. The internal flash files are not available to edit after the update so I would like to keep as much as I can on the SD card. I cannot see the internal flash to see how much room is left.

What do I need to add to sys.txt?

Does any hungarian tts file exist for these versions?
What are phoneme files for?

I have an Airis T620 with the 8.0054 version installed.
My problems are:
The speedcam warning function doesn't work properly on my device.
It is either turned on /in this case it beeps (faster and louder if I drive too fast, descretely if I drive as I should) each time I approach a camera) or remain silent, even If I set it to sign loud as approaching the camera with too high speed. What shall I do?

Sometimes it takes awfull lot of time for the gps to find the position. How can I speed it up.
(In the general settings of my pda the automatic gps recognition (or such) is off, since it was offered in one of the forums...

thanks

Update: I got iGo 8.0.0.49545 to work on my Nokia 500 by placing all the iGo files and folders on the Internal Flash. I placed the content folder on the SD Card. Does not find extra skins. Does not find the TMC. TTS does not work. Does not dial POI phone number. I need more work on the sys.txt. I added this to sys.txt
[folders]
data="/SDMMC/iGo8"
content="/SDMMC/iGo8/content"

Still not sure what files I can put on the SD Card to have the minimum in Internal Flash. I do not think tts_loq is getting copied to the Internal Flash

safer than safe wrote:Hi Guys

I get this Fatal Error:
Fatal error occurred in main thread.
Address:0x002a2b60
Exception:0x0000005

This happens in both 54000 and previous. the program actually work on my Omnia (WM 6.1 Pro) but this only happens when I search one particular address. I thought it may be the map so tried two different versions of maps for UK (2008.01 and 2008.04) but it was not that.
Any help would be very much appreciated since it took me a while to get it going on my Omnia.

This is wierd... I've had it running fine on my elf for a couple of months, did rom upgrade, and got the same error - I went back to an old rom version, and still get the error - in fact I'm getting te error now using configs that worked fine before... wierd thing is, IGO8 runs perfectly until I set up an activesync connection, then it gives the error! Its almost as if its trying to do something over activesync, but like I said, its been running fine since June up until this week!

I'm using Touch Diamond (WM6.1) Traditional Chinese with igo8 49545 and 54000 . It both has "fatal error" at the following situation:
a. Run igo8 during some area. In some of the area, it won't have "fatal error" when I run igo8. I'm talking about run igo8 only, such as find an address only but not run for navagation.
b. Run igo8 successfully at first, when I run navagation, it seems okay at first as well. When I want to see route details, it shows "fatal error".

For having above issues, I have tried JetMouse's suggestion on changing SD (Internal Storage) response time to 8192. It doesn't work.

According to some discussions over the web, this "fatal error", at least for Traditional Chinese version, is because Chinese Font file is too big. Some of the users provide fixed version of this fatal error by changing memory address. Maybe it works for some PNA but it doesn't work for my Touch Diamond.
Is there any solution for this??
