Hello,

I installed Igo v8.3.2.64873 with the optimized data.zip for 8.3.2 series,
http://rapidshare.com/files/169077560/data.zip

my sys.txt file looks like this:

[folders]
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

[interface]
maxzoom2d=6000000
show_exit=1
shutdown_time=0

[map]
2dheadup=1

after navagating a while i got error message and igo shutting down, the message:

"Fatal error occurred in main thread"
Address: 0x000a81d4
Exception: 0xc0000005

My Device: Kaiser WM6.1

I reversed to the previous version v8.3.1.57021 and the problem was solved,

Is there a solution to fix this error/crash for the v8.3.2.64873 ?

Thanks :)

Simply rename the 2577 folder after installation.

Monkey12, the 2577 folder doesn't exist in the JM 8.32 download file...
I copied it over from a post a couple of pages back.
How exactly can I install IGO if the autorun file (found in the 2577 folder) doesn't exist?
I CAN run IGO8 using the exe file found under Storage Card\iGo8, but this act won't create the Today plugin. AFAIK the Autorun process does that.
Or am I missing something here?
Thanks.

Hello Everyone!

I think this is not a new problem, but i would like to ask it, because it is very important for me!
I will go to the UK, and I need the postcode search. I have the latest IGO (THNX For you all), but i cant search with the post codes properly. Is there any solution? Map?

JM, you are right, but skinmakers need help to create compatible chemes and skins. By the way, the original interface is totally useless for me, I prefer full screen...
Anyway, thanks for working on this, you deserve every respect.

Of course you are right.

I only thought, you used the copied autorun.exe in the 2577 folder already once and now you have the problem, that this setup process always runs in a loop, when you put your SD card in for example?

if you don't have or want to use the autorun (2577 folder), you can just keep all the data on the sd card and manually put the files you need in the iGO8 folder in Program Files (same as in previous version, just replace the igo.exe file with the new one). then, just "copy" the igo.exe file and "paste shortcut" (and rename to whatever you want) in WINDOWS/START MENU/Programs/ and the file will be available for you in the Today screen

I installed Igo v8.3.2.64873 with the latest optimized data.zip for 8.3.2 series and Gurjon 4.5.0...

JetMouse help me please, I don't know for what strange reason the house numbers in some streets (not all) are still inverted with this 8.3.2(right/left side) when simulating an itinerary. In the same street they change right/left side when I crossing some other roads, alternating wrong and correct side.
When I navigate with gps on the road the house number are correct...
I've also deleted the "save" folder... nothing...
With 8.3.1 and earlier I didn't have this issue...
Best regards...

as mentioned 1000 times, test WITHOUT the skin, then if necessary, report if there is still an error.

New data.zip for iGO 8.3.2.64873, includes 240x320, 320x240, 480x272 and 800x480. Last one was modified and tested by me on a Xperia X1, found no bugs so far. please let me know if there are still bugs in this resolution.

Rename to data.zip

And again as a reminder for the ones with problems: DO NOT USE ANY SKINS WHICH ARE NOT SPECIFICALLY FOR 8.3.2.64873.

This is incredible. I've been trying to post this reply for over half an hour... This site is REALLY having load balancing problems...

In any case, Igal27, this is a good workaround.
However, I'd like to fully resolve the problem so as to have a fully automated install (since I frequently test new ROMs, and this requires frequent HRs).

Contact import on 57021 (likely same with latest version)

I have not been able to get iGO to recognise my contacts since upgrading to 57021. I just added a contact in Outlook and sync'd my PPC - and iGO immediately tried to import it. This makes me think that there should be a way to get iGO to rescan my contacts database and import them correctly. Any suggestions what could be done to get iGO to rescan? Delete a file somewhere?
