I know this is a long thread, but did you even take the time to read the first post? maybe the answer to your question is there...

Yes, I tried to check the hole topic but I've found only IGO 57021 but I'd like useable IGO 64873 version for PDA!
So if anyone knows a link please give me!
Thank you!

The msnd setting doesn't seem to work for me on my X51V. Same slow refresh rate as before. I saw in another post that some skins could fix the problem, but I think the skins are a mess and I prefer the default skin.
@LZF and JM:
Did you notice the slow refresh rate?

So far, this thing is working great on my c310x Mio. Which is amazing since I now have TTS and maps of all over the world thanks to this forum. And the Mio was on Woot for $60!
The only thing I'm wondering is the dimming problem just a glitch on the Mio? What happens is if you turn the unit off then on, when it returns on it's much dimmer than before (as if it were running off battery but it's not). To get it to be bright again you have to go into the brightness adjustments and even though it's set to max, you have to slide it down then up again (hard to do when driving).
Just wondering if this is a glitch everyone is dealing with or just us Mio users; and if there's a fix. Thanks so much!!
Oh and to anyone who had voice stuttering/static problems, this line in sys.txt
[sound]
queue_length=200
worked perfect for me!
