OK I made some headway with my "dim" problem with the GPS.

I have TWO Mio C310x's and one has the problem where if I power off the system and turn it back on the screen is way dimmer even though it's plugged in. I have another Mio C310x and this problem does not happen.

Since I switched SD cards between units and it made no difference (showing it's not something on the SD card causing the problems) I noticed in Windows with the unit the same problem happens on the desktop; so it's not IGO's fault. One Mio GPS in Windows has the dim problem the other doesn't. But power options and display options are identical in both units.

What else could be causing it? They're both using the same exact versions and they're the both same exact GPS's. I'd greatly appreciate any insight!

Hello.
My device is a mio c520 in which I use MioPocket 2.0 r32

I Installed iGO nov 13th version on my SD card. Got the voices and lang files, also the maps I needed.
The problem is that when I'm trying to load iGO i get this error:

Fatal Error:
Initialization error:
LoadLanguage failed

Any ideas on what should I do?

What 's Seems to be The PROBLEM

Turn OFF the AGPS using Schaps Advanced Config or any other applicable tweaking app (an app that is compliant with your PDA).
Or you can find the appropriate REG key (I can't remember which one) and change the value from 0 to 1 or viceversa).

Any news JetMouse ???

I have cracked that version couple of days back. It runs just fine with the original Becker skin (which has only 480x272 resolution) but crashes at route calculation while using generic data.zip. It's either NNG bug, or this version is very "device" (or I'd say becker data.zip) dependent. Some modifications of generic data.zip would be needed in order to fix that, unfortunately I don't have time for FFUI scripting at the moment...

Cheers,
JM

Will somebody continue in those work? Will disengage somebody Becker skin?

I just realized the only difference between my Mio c310x that has the dimness problem and the one that doesn't is the one that has the problem (screen stays dim when turning unit on even though it has external power) is the one I "installed" the c310 unlock thing on, it was a cab file. The one not giving me the problem was a newer version that only needed to be on the SD card. Maybe this has something to do with it? I'd like to return the Mio giving me problems back to factory restore but now it won't get detected in Windows XP any more (the one not giving me problems is detected just fine)

I installed the software on AT&T Tilt and it starts fine. The only problem is that it is still not able to detect the GPS. The red LED starts flashing but the software hangs there probably because of the GPS. I have already run QuickGPS but no luck.

I am running Athine OS v3.1 ROM with 1.65.24.36 radio version. Base OS is WM6.1.

What am I missing?

I turned off the AGPS function through Kaisertweak, I tried again, and for some reason it worked right now. Yay!
