OK I made some headway with my "dim" problem with the GPS.
I have TWO Mio C310x's and one has the problem where if I power off the system and turn it back on the screen is way dimmer even though it's plugged in. I have another Mio C310x and this problem does not happen.
Since I switched SD cards between units and it made no difference (showing it's not something on the SD card causing the problems) I noticed in Windows with the unit the same problem happens on the desktop; so it's not IGO's fault. One Mio GPS in Windows has the dim problem the other doesn't. But power options and display options are identical in both units.
What else could be causing it? They're both using the same exact versions and they're the both same exact GPS's. I'd greatly appreciate any insight!
