I downloaded http://rapidshare.com/files/169077559/nav_nov13.rar and data file for sony ericsson xperia.

Igo is launched but when i try to change to Expert mode i've got an error : can not find ico_findplace.bmp...

Is there anything wrong I did ???

you need the data file from the rar, dont replace it.

my simulation doesnt work on the igo. any help

edit: nevermind. i just found the nov_13_tts_fix file a couple pages back and now tts works on the latest 8.3.2 version. thanks OP & everyone else here.

Hi, I am trying to get this program running for the first time on a Sprint HD Touch Pro...I have the Nav N Go iGO 8 v8.3.2.64873 loaded on the SD card, as well as the content for buildings, POIs, maps and DEMs (whatever that is)...when I tried to launch, it told me it could not locate the "language files"...I assume I need some sort of English language files to put in the folder within content? If so, could somebody please point me in the right direction or upload to RS? Anything else I might need, or should I be able to launch it after putting the language files in the proper folder? Thanks for helping a noob... -A

How can I set the map tilt in the sys.txt? I would like to set a default value for all skins when the singpost are sawn.

i change data.zip for 20-12-2008 NEW DATA.ZIP V8b given in the first page.

Desi/Crave and others having problems running TTS on CE 4.2,

I was like you playing with my 4.2 with various combinations to get TTS working. Finally it clicked. Downloaded the TTS voices from the TTS forum (opening post by JM) but replaced the 3 dll files with 4 old dll (you can again get it at the end of the same forum). Still it did not work. My previous TTS working iGO8 (R1) had a folder "Loq_TTS" that again contained similar file structure as the "tts_loq" folder. I could not pinpoint which file helped but it helped. If I removed the folder "Loq_TTS", there's no TTS. So just try to insert that folder in your iGO8 folder or rename. Trust me - play with it a little bit and your 4.2 (310x) can handle the R3 TTS. I join many others in thanking JM and all others at this forum for their efforts/communications. Sad to see JM drift away from cracking.

Autoload MAP rather then MENU during startup?

read all pages since this thread began and can not remember this ever being raised. What script changes needs to be ammended to enable igo to load directly in to the map rather then the menu. Guessing it has something to do with the data.zip/ui_igo8/common/ui/start.ui or can it be done from the sys.txt?

When I quit from Igo, the backlight of device cannot turn back as I set. Why?

I set in Igo brighter than in default. When I quit, it is as bright as in Igo. It cannot get light back.

Just an update. I tried deleting file by file from the folder "Loq_TTS" and eventually the whole folder and found that it is not needed (sorry for my earlier comments). i did not yet try the new link "Nav_Nov13_TTS_edition".

2) When I install it on hp iPAQ 310 I don't see the SKIN button (it is greyed out) in Settings/Menu. Of course a SKIN folder with a few skins in it is located in iGO8/content. What could be the reason that the SKIN is greyed out? Maybe I should add some lines in SYSTEM.TXT?

Skins shows on your list ONLY if they contain the resolution for your device ( you can check this looking inside the zip file for a sub folder with the resolution x_y name. Probably the skin you want to use does not have the device resolution.
