Is there a different set of voice directions for IGO8..? If I could change is this I will have my perfect navigator. Any help will be appreciated

The navigation sounds etc are in Igo8\content\voice. I use the file Eng-uk-f3.zip
Within this zip file is a folder called Audio which contains a load of .ogg files (the actual sound files). Use an audio editor (Audacity is free) and remove the sound from the various prepareto.ogg files and any others that you want to change. There are shedfulls almost the same that are (or possibly aren't) used in different situations.

How the unit responds to the various situations is in the config folder. 'Commands' is the actual response to the event which points to the 'distances' files to link to the actual audio files.
Do NOT edit the .csv files in excel as it will screw them up. I use Notepad, but there are better text editors available.

Edit. Why the heck do people re-quote all previous quotes taking up far more space than required.

2577 contains the autorun files for autorun when the SD card is inserted as igo is 'not' installed but run. You may find you can delete 2577 but will have to create a shortcut to the *.exe file or run it from explorer

Ok under the options in my menu i have the original dimka 1.1.11 skin and i have lane information checked, and i have show signposts checked,

and i have no lane info with signpost checked, ive also tried it with this one unchecked and i never get the signposts to show up....and if i have the signposts enabled, it doesnt show the number of lanes and which lane you are supposed to be in either and it doesn't show the signposts either....so my question is why wont my signpost show??

I was using a route on Interstate 77 to charlotte, NC shouldn't that cause the signpost to show up?..i mean charlotte is a fairly large city in nc and there are plenty of interstate signs

Charlotte just probably hasn't been mapped to that level of detail yet......
Half the roads around NYC don't have full roadsigns defined yet, the odds are that North Carolina is going to be even sparser.

Uninstall the previous program from your device's memory. Go to Programs/Uninstall, check the name of the program and then press the uninstall button.
Afterwards start explorer and delete any other file/folder from the device's internal memory that has anything to do with the old program (you find them in a folder named as your old program).
That's all.

I suppose you want to install the 8.3.2.64029 version for PDA.
Your sys.txt file must contain the following lines, at least:
[project]
name="igo8_pda"

[folders]
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

[interface]
maxzoom2d=6000000
show_exit=1

[rawdisplay]
driver=gdi

Hi Has anybody managed to get TMC working with touch HD and external GNS tmc receiver. The GNS mouse connects perfectly and scans the FM range, but unfortunately won't display any traffic info. I'm sure its a license issue but haven't found one that works. Normal tmc licenses don't work from other versions as the touch HD seems very picky (ie won't start). Any help would be great as i'm sure i'm not the only one with this problems.
