Contacts import is not supported in this version (v8.3.2.64873).

You'll need to install version v8.3.2.64029, or to follow THESE instructions.

Hello all,

I have an HTC touch pro (raphael) phone and I'd like to have IGO8 8.32 run on it.

I have downloaded iGO8 8.32.64873 which is 18.1 megs and supposed to be cracked with a licence file in it, installed it on the memory card of the phone and 1 map (france).

The problem is that when I start the program i get to the welcome screen for about 1 minute, then I see "init API", then "languages" and then it crashes back to the desktop.

I have read this post but I am lost and I don't understand what to do...can someone tell me what files are needed to start the program, right now I the only file in my content folder is tha french map, I have no language file, no voice file and so on....

Thanks for the help

Hi guys,
first I'm pretty new to this enviroment ... so forgive me for all the newbie question ( hope there will be no newbie answere ;-) )

after month of eating my head, I made an old Mio 268+ to work with a MM 3.3 aka iGo 2006+ with 2008-04 map and speedcams ... I kinda understood, now, that is possible to have iGo 8.3.2.XXXXX to go just fine on my device. so the first question is : is this right ???
if so, I dowloaded the navigation software posted here and took notice of the changes I should do in sys. etc ...
I'll try in the nex few days, if I'm not too busy with work...

Waiting for answeres ... Thanks to all

P.S. my 269+ is R13 flash update and I did not understand if I need a new flash release or not ???

I have made some more tries and now the program boots but tells me that my maps are outdated, the only map I have in the map folder is France_2008.04_080604.fbl however i don't know if it's good for 8.32 of if it's a map for 8.30 because I have read (no matter what lolita says) the post :)

DO i need to have a basemap for the program to run properly ?

Can someone help me with this ?

Thanks

Yes you need the basemap and at least 1 country. Be sure you use maps for 8.3 (R3) series. There is a thread " iGO8 MAPS - R3 (8.3.x) series", check there.

Hey hyperyoung

Have you tested this on the road ? And what do you see ??

I can only get the omnia to detect the TMC but it stays and nothing found.

Hi. iGO8.3.2.xxx with TTS run just fine on my 269+ with ROM R15.2. Try to put cecommander in SD Card\miomap and rename it to miomap.exe. Reset your Mio and wait 10 sec before klicking the parabolic icon. If CEcommander starts then you can run almost any navi prog, including iGO8, from that folder if it is renamed to miomap. Just remember to edit sys.txt.
If you need to update ROM, make shure you flash with correct ROM for your screen!

Can you please help me out with this problem I am having with IGO 8. Everything is running smoothly and it say GPS is connected to receiver with satellite bar all the way to the top. I am using "Franson GPSGATE" for COM: 2 with no problem.

But when I try to set an address destination, it keeps bring up a message "COULD NOT FIND ANY ROADS NEAR YOUR CURRENT POSITION"

For the life of me I can not figure this one out and it is very frustrating. Please let me know what I need to do.

Thank you

well... the problem you are experiencing is because of the maps. if you can see yourself on the map this shouldn't be a problem. however if you do not see yourself on the map or the localisation isn't done and you are, according to the last known location, somewhere outside the country which map you're using then the program cannot connect your "location" with any road.
