I have used v 8.3.2.71348 on P360 with no problem except the following:
1. 71348 does not import contacts, while 64029 does this correctly ( so I returned to 64029)
2. Both 71348 and 64029 have the following problem:
"I start navigation fom a place not included in the map and I drive, in that unmapped area, for about 1o minutes. When I reach the mapped area, the program I suppose should recalculate the route and start the normal navigation. Instead of that it just freezes, completely. I cannot do anything and the only way out is to reset my device.
This problem happens with both Greece 2008.07 and 2008.Q3 maps. In my effort to fix the problem I have tried several skins, settings, etc ... without any success. I just hoped that the new version (71348) would solve the problem.
I do NOT have this problem with iGO 8.0 neither with iGO 2006 or any other navigation program (tomtom, navigon, miomap 2008, ...).
Any one with the same problem or any idea on how to fix it ? "

hey thanks for the help but still have 1 more problem. My iGo works perfectly when it is executed inside the folder but I want to create a shortcut for it to show in my programs menu so that I can add it to my programs tab on my HTC Jade. I tried creating a shortcut and putting it inside "windows/start menu/programs" but whenever I run the shortcut from the start menu/programs I get the "database error". And if this helps, here is my sys.txt

that should be okay, as long as that's the exact path to your program (i.e. on the SD card, in a folder named iGO8) - make sure this is the case. also, if you've installed this using the 2577 folder, you'll have a sys.txt on the SD card AND on your device. make sure both of them are updated identically. if none of that works, maybe try renaming the executable file from mobilenavigator.exe to iGO8.exe (that's how i have it). don't think that should make any difference, but it's worth a try...

The last version v8.3.2.71348 (Jan 7 2009) seems to use more ram than v8.3.2.64873 (Nov 13 2008). It's gonna be difficult to run it on a device with only 64Mo of Ram ... Had to change device soon !!

I tried to install v8.3.2.71348 but had no success.
Now I can't install any version of iGO (v8.3.1.57021, v8.3.2.64873, v8.3.2.71348).

When I install it stucks after I confirmed the EULA.
After a softreset iGO starts until the screen "STARTING". That's all
I tried at least 10 times!

Any idea to solve this problem?

Try Search for ; function with value "STARTING", you could find valuable infos.

Start the first time without maps, The problem is the import of your adresses.

Interesting ! How many available ram do you have with your device (with and without igo8 running ? Are you running TTS with it ?
For me, with Igo v8.3.2.64873 running, i have 20% ram free (+/- 10 Mo) with TTS , and with v8.3.2.71348, i have only 12% ram free (+/- 6 Mo) with TTS also : and that's not enought, igo8 crash by défault of memory

To me no changes; both versions run very fine. I just can't find differences (yet)

8.3.2.71348 working on my next 708 pna sdcard. still i havent regocnized any difference with the older one. i have a question; on the map screen i can see the poi icon but i cant see as like shell or bp icon. i can just see a standart gas icon. i have loaded the turkey poi file. on the poi management menu i cant see the poi icons. on the igo8 8.0 version that is legaly loaded in my flash disk of my next pna on the map also on the poi management menu i can see the poi icons like bp, shell etc..

You need to do the following, then you will see custom poi icons,
Navigate to this folder in data zip,
\ui_igo8\icons\poi\
delete kmlpoi.icon
