I have used v 8.3.2.71348 on P360 with no problem except the following:
1. 71348 does not import contacts, while 64029 does this correctly ( so I returned to 64029)
2. Both 71348 and 64029 have the following problem:
"I start navigation fom a place not included in the map and I drive, in that unmapped area, for about 1o minutes. When I reach the mapped area, the program I suppose should recalculate the route and start the normal navigation. Instead of that it just freezes, completely. I cannot do anything and the only way out is to reset my device.
This problem happens with both Greece 2008.07 and 2008.Q3 maps. In my effort to fix the problem I have tried several skins, settings, etc ... without any success. I just hoped that the new version (71348) would solve the problem.
I do NOT have this problem with iGO 8.0 neither with iGO 2006 or any other navigation program (tomtom, navigon, miomap 2008, ...).
Any one with the same problem or any idea on how to fix it ? "

I also have this EXACT same problem with 2008Q2 USA maps (with PDA and PNA)!! I thought it was just me! I had it with the Nov 13 version (64873) and now with the Jan 7 version (71348). I have to reset my device as well. I'm not sure exactly when it started, but I know I did not have the problem with an older version I used (have to find out which version that was - may have been an 8.3.1 version). I'll let you know what I find out. I experience the problem every day when leaving work if I turn my GPS on before I get to the road. I'm only off-road for about 1 minute and it happens when it goes to re-calculate...

I have used version 8.3.1.xxxxx, more than twice, and the problem is the same. Version 8.0.0.63379 (Nov 18 2008) works perfect all times.

okay no more problems but i just want to know if it is possible to have iGo make a alert sound whenever I'm at my turn. iGuidance would "ding" me whenever I'm exactly at the turn so I know where to turn. Is there any line i can add to the sys.txt to get this affect?

Since many users find it annoying, it's being set to 0 in most DATAs...

You need to do the following, then you will see custom poi icons,
Navigate to this folder in data zip,
\ui_igo8\icons\poi\
delete kmlpoi.icon

This is fixed in 8.3.2.71348. You don´t have to delete kmlpoi.icon.

Guys, I have the latest modified data.zip from the forum, with the 800x480 dir, and I would like to run igo8 in the native resolution of my Touch HD but I'm not getting this right...
I usually get black bars on the sides or the display way to zoomed and cut...
Can anyone help me??

I have compaq 3970+MSI GPS....and iGO 2006 work properly...but iGO 2008(whatsover version) does not work......displays error ``ERROR READING DATA FROM THE INPUT PORT`` and turn off bluetooth...WHAT FOR TURN OFF BLUETOOTH??????PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Ja koristim Compaq 3970 sa 2003OS...i MSI GPS prijemnik sf200...iGO 2006 mi perfektno radi ali iGO 2008 ima problem.Posle par minuta rada izbaci grsku kako vise ne prima podatke sa gps prijemnika jer mu nesto iskljuci bluetooth....probao sam par programa koji rade oko portova ali i dalje se isto desava..nekada mi iskljuci bluetooth za dva minuta a nekad posle dva sata...MOLIM VAS ZA POMOC

Hey guys, i installed igo last night the (JAN 7 2009) one and it worked fine last night like i was just browsing through the program and things like that and today morning when i tried to use it. I kept getting a failed to reserve virtual address space error. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it. I have ATT fuze with a 8gig memory card.

Touch HD HELP needed please...!!!
When in Settings\Device Settings Power Management I set it to Backlight always ON, the Touch HD starts to "ticks" all the time, any Idea how to solve this?

If you have custom pois in a kml file, iGO shows those with a default icon "Google Earth". You must go to handle pois and change the icon to another of your taste.

8.3.2.71348 working on Mio C320 but it has the wake-up problem - power off with iGo8 running and when you power back on it shuts down iGO8!, so looking for a wake-up fix - no other issues noted apart from that - going back to 8.3.2.64873 for the time being.

Is it possible to turn of the manual route calculation ???? everytime i dont follow instructions i doesnt re-route calculate......it want me to press on the re-route calculation button in the upper left corner.

PS: I know there is a option, but that one already says it automatic re-route calculate.

No problems so far.

I'm using iGO8.exe 8.3.2.71348, default data.zip 8.3.2.64873 and skin choup 8.3.5.5.

I didn't say i have a problem.....only route calculation needs to be done manually (by pressing on the icon in the upper left) i want that future turned off and swith to automatic re-route calculation. Any ideas how ?
