i am still struggling to use this program, you cant enter a full postcode, therefore if you dont know the street name, the whole program is completely useless

Make sure you include the space in the middle of the post code - works for me on the UK maps

Would you kindly advise how I could call out or find out the postcode entrance icon/page?

I've been running the Jan 7 version on my Mio C320. Everything seems to work fine, except sometimes when resuming from standby, iGo will just restart itself. Has anybody found a definitive fix for this? Right now I have it running entirely from the internal flash memory and it has the same problem. I had it running with the app in internal memory and content on the SD card and it had the exact same restart problem (just igo restarting, not the device itself). Before that, I had the entire app/content running from the SD card and sometimes when resuming from standby, the device itself would restart.

I installed v8.3.2.71348 (Jan 7 2009) on i780, some time ago...
first time I restarted device, it wont boot!!
Hard reset, and run jan 7 version, again no boot...
igo8.3.2.6x works fine!

Anybody tried to restart their device, after running this version???

Somebody claim that exist another version iGO8.3.2.72490. Nobody heard about it?

Sure, its on the "Find Address" screen so

its FIND >> Find Address >> select the country map

When you tap on the city field it says

" < Enter Name / Postcode > " on the 2nd line

Just make sure to leave a space between the 2 parts of the post code

I had the same problems with wakeup from standby. I put v71348 from SD to HDD (My Flash Disk in MIO C520) and no restarts after it (I did six á cca 1 hour standbys and no restart after these six wakeups - until now).

I´m not sure, bur possible cause of restart may be that at this version is after start iGO8 from SD card created file device.nng in the root of Storage Card (next iGO8 folder).
This file is usually created in folder "Licence", but in this version is created in SD card too.
When I have v71348 into HDD, the file isn´t created in HDD and maybe it is the reason no restart after wakeup.

Az úticélhoz közeledve, ha már nincs több forduló/elágazás/stb., nem mond semmit. Pontosabban csak az "Újratervezés..."t mondogatja!

. No problems whatsoever with 8.3.2.64873, but when I swapped in the 8.3.2.71348, I get system resets after not using my GPS for a long time upon wake-up.

Interesting...I have a Mio C520 (similar h/w) and with 64873 sometimes it reboots on me when waking it up. It's not consistent and happens whether is on power or battery.
I did NOT experience the issue when using Navigon...it resumes just fine, so I cannot blame WinCE but rather iGO.

I'm not going to question the method and theory about the device.nng file until I try it out for myself, but if I wake-up iGO after an hour of being off, I have no problems - it really needs to be a few hours before the restart bug occurs for me.
