I don't like it. It is just a skin for dummies. The only interesting thing is te option to select a 3D car.
I still think that the miomap v5 skin is the best ever made. But they cannot use that I think
due to legal reasons. Pitty.

Do you have an AIRIS T483 ?

If yes, can you tell me why, when using iGO8, I can't temporarily switch off the screen (pressing the ON/OFF button - short pressure). I don't want to totally switch off the T483 with a long pressure...

Yea there's really nothing that couldn't already be done with current igo8 versions. Amigo seems to be just a different skin.

Does anyone know how to set iGo8.3.x to startup blootooth automatically when loading. My dad has an HP iPaq which bluetooths to an external GPS receiver, Tomtom 6.02 turns on the bluetooth automatically, iGo8 does not.

I can't see anything in the menus to set this, perhaps there is a sys/ini file somewhere where this might be an option?

I have noticed that ActiveSync is started after running iGO8 and concluded that it was done
by iGO itself; Couldn't find how to prevent it.

After changing my system time I discovered that ActivSync starts up whenever
the system time is changed, (iGO is not running).

So, maybe it isn't iGO that is starting ActivSync but rather it might be the result of iGO
only changing the system time and ActivSync starting up as a automatic result.

I haven't tested this yet but it might be a fix, (disable the 'adjust system to match GPS time).

0. Get a registry editor, even TotalcmdCE(http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketarm.cab) will do the job.
1. Pair the GPS with the Ipaq.
2.Connect the GPS to the Ipaq.
3.Open the registry, go to \HKLM\Software\Widcomm\BtConfig\AutoConnect\000n(where n is your com #),
and create a new DWORD key called BtBrowserEnabled, and give it the value 0 (zero).
4. Soft reset.
5. All set, your iPAQ should connect the BT GPS any time you need it, or if the GPS isn't available, won't crash
your BT stack on the iPAQ.

Hello! can someone help me about which Igo8 version is possible to install on Eten M600+? I have an early version of it (I think 8.0.0.44-something), but I would like a newer one. I need the navigation badly, that is why I don't want to make experiments on my own. Please someone who has the same device, can tell me if he was able to successfully install a 8.3 series Igo8! I am running v8.3.2/71348 on an Eten M600.

No problems - just the odd 'out of memory' issues.

But, mostly, it works OK

i have some problems with this version and i don't know what do do for it to work properly:
i use a mio c620 unlocked with miopocket 2.0 release 41 and iGO 8.3.2.71348 it works well exept when i use my standby button it turnes the display off and when i use it agait to turn it back on it restarts , it also resets the device when i exit iGO into the pseudodesktop. if u have any ideea how to solve this i would really appreciate it. tnx

I have a Medion MD96710 which gets the same error (for Resolution 320_240):
I tried everything mentioned here (and some variations of it).

Curious is, if I start iGo.exe from the SD-Card it works. If I use the starter on the Home-Screen or start it from the internal storage, it fais with the error above. SYS.TXT is the same in both places.

Any Idea how I can fix this?
