Thanks for this release but which is it advantage against the release from 7 ian. 2009? Is more stable, have a more good resource management or is something make for a specific equipment? Dreaming at the new release beyond 7 ian I say you thanks again.

This release came, as has been said, from the Australian release maps.

However...It doesn't really belong in this thread as it is a retail PDA version.

That means it will import Contacts! edit... No it won't... (Or I can't get it to work)

Hoping someone can help, bit of a nube to igo 8.

I am using it on an Omnia and have been able to get it to work, but, i get an error message telling me the maps I am using need to be updated and I should see my seller. I have tried to use the R 14 and R 15 Australian maps.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance.

You need to use the updated Aus/NZ maps for 8.3. There is thread in GPS Releases forum that contains them. It has not yet made it to the iGO Maps section.

I expected you to publish NEWER versions (8.3.2.77587 or 8.3.2.79297) not older than 8.3.2.71348
Or maybe IGO Amigo 8.4.1.78961 :(

And what right do you (or anyone else here) have to "expect" ANYTHING? Just say thank you for the hard work and generosity of those who actually do this work and allow us to benefit from it.

With this - I wish to thank SkyRocker and JetMouse for all your efforts!

YES, of course!

v8.3.2.70321 (Dec 17 2008) is NEWER than v8.3.2.71348 (Jan 7 2009) :?

But indeed there are posts blaming this one to be better - but this is (as always) device specific.
I don't know of any bug existing in only one of these versions - so try it out!

Where do you live (or drive)?

You will need a patched version for showing speedcams in Switzerland - and of course the speedcam.spdb or any SpeedCamText.txt to convert on start-up.
Otherwise you could still add custom Speedcams via Cursor/Place menu...

did you select a TTS voice?
or the voices in the right directory
do you use a skin with the Ultra voices and did you put those in the right directory? (speedcam voices)

If you're using the new Australian maps for 8.3 then it would be because there are no speed limits in those maps...
