IGO8 v8.3.2.79297 freezes too much.. have to do soft resets on asus p320.

I've been having the same freezing issue on my Tytn II since Jan 7 version. If anyone has found a cure for this please let us know. As a last resort, I'm replacing both branding.zip and data.zip from the Nov 17 version to see if it makes a difference.

Can anyone pls tell me how to install iGO8 ? and where to download the installed version. Thanks in advance.

This new version solves lag issues when using tts voices on my diamond. (Radio 1.12.25.16 & rom based on 2.03)
At least now I can use it with no problem inside my city with 3d buildings and everything on.

It's a pity that map is significant outdated (07.2008). The naviteq Q4 map lacks of too much details.

The only navigation software with good updated map is always the horrible tom tom.

i agree that it fixes the TTS lag. that's the major change i've noticed -- otherwise, the only lag i ever notice is the initial load after a hard reset, which is due to the xerses themechanger -- totally expected. now i just need TMC to work in the USA, and some newer than 2008.Q2 NT maps for the USA/Canada. Let's do this people -- they HAVE to be out there. SOMEONE has to have used NaviExtra's legitmately and gotten the files... I'd BUY it myself at this point but there's no good iGO8 R3 for purchase. I can't believe I'm actually willing to PAY for this at this point, but my TMC trial expires in a month, and MioMap v3.3 sucks.

I found Italy map 2008.10 but no license for it.

Anyone got a license? Wonder if they finally updated something.

After a long time I've got some free time today and I decided to play around a bit with the latest iGO8 v8.3.2.74290, version that so many of you have asked for and look what I have come up with



Yes, you see it right! I managed to get it work with the old good Worldwide Generic license supporting all devices, all maps and even TMC Pro service in certain European countries Next step would be maybe a complete license generator (if I find some time in the future), that will generate such a worldwide licenses working with all future iGO releases using current license algo without touching the executable itself. Since I have publicly stepped back from patching I will not post it here or share my patch with anyone, so please do not PM me about releasing this patch or giving it for testing. However, I will share my findings with SkyRocker, and if he decides to publish it here, it's just up to him...

Lacy 30, igo 8.3.2 79297 works perfectly on omnia with data 640** for pda version even faster than the previous version.

In fact you are right. Yesterday evening I was probably drunk... I didn't noticed that it was for 8.0.0.

We don't have the 8.3.2.74290 (Jan 28 2009) yet, so if you do have the files please contact either me or SkyRocker. It will be for sure released in a matter of hours.
