No he can't... The Techrific software is a PDA version and won't work with LZF's data.zip. At least it didn't when I tried it...

Well, I tried the Techrific version this morning. It works on PNA too. But you have to apply LZF data (v9c) & branding.zip.

I haven't test it on "the road", I don't know then if it works properly. But it supports TTS.

I hope you see the images I made too.

Respect :)

Anyway, I continue using 64873 version, the last working at full speed on my PNA. Loaded with whole Europe maps, buildings, poi, and then modified skins (with full italian speedcam support) with themechanger (old version - the newer one with sky, sun and so on, slows down the program).

The *trial* versions (so I call this one, 71348, 79297) doesn't run so smooth for me as 64873. But your version seems to be faster than others. With few maps+buildings+poi (I, SMR, CDV) and default skin.

I have a TyTN II. No changes made to the sys-file. The iGO 8.0 version worked just fine.

Any Ideas?!

Can anyone tell me how they did to get the iGO 8.3 working on their HTC TyTN II / Kaiser?!

HI!

First of all, use the new data.zip (9D or some like that). If it still doesn't work try another brandig.zp. If it still doesn't work try to use another Radio I'm using 1.71.09.01, or another ROM I'm using cooked ROM. But, I installed the 8.3.6xxxx version and I found an anoying bug which everytime changes the system backlight if I choose to use the maximum backlight in IGO.

Yes it does. I just replaced Jan 09 version of IGO8.exe with the .exe from Next (Mar 2 09) and it worked OK on my Mio C710

Guys, when navigating in cities between tall buildings, as you get closer to them they start to vanish, become transparent. Is there a way to adjust the distance from where to start to make them transparent? Perhaps a sys.txt setting or some?

Grandipatenti, as I said in the quoted post, I have installed Techrific version on my secondary SD. I tried it then on my 480*272 PNA and it worked with no starting problem.

You got to replace original data and branding.zip with the LZF (data v9c) ones.

(if you have a backup SD, just try)
