What a mess do that NNG. They launch the 8.4 but in the same time they upgrade the 8.3 and I am not very surprise if appear a new 8.0...

Why do you need to install it? Just replace IGO.exe with the new version and that's it.

I agree if.... those Amigo do that optimization but I didn't find it less resource hungry and I didn't think is easier to use. In fact is a new product which test the market.

Thanks for the new version.

I have a problem with this version and also the previous .80 version where after the software loads up upon the first press it freezes and does not respond. Happens every time. Did not happen on .79 version though. And when i go back to the .79 version it works ok so cant be a skin or anything (using 6.4p Gurjon skin)
Device is Route 66 Maxi 480x272

Anyone else have this problem or know how to sort it?

that happens if you don´t deinstall the old version

Just delete the the exe (or if you want the whole folder) and replace it with the new one.

I just updated the file on the stroage card to the newest version and I keep getting an error: "there is and older version of the program on the storage card. Do you want to downgrade now?" does anyone know how to resolve this.

Sorted. Had to delete and backup my SAVE folder and it worked then. Then rebuilt the data back into the SAVE folder and seems to be still working.
Just in case anyone else experiences the same

TMC Pro in UK:

1.Do I have to pay for subscription (ITIS or TrafficMaster) or iGO8 .licence file is enough to get traffic infirmation?
2.Which TMC receiver working proply with HP Ipaq 314 and iGO8.3 ?

Hmm.. I use with the igo.exe from main post.. But i am need install for this.

I have a little problem with this version: when it loads to INIT API it crashes and exits. I dont have such problems with old versions, and i installed the program from 0 (deleted the old version and copied the new one without save folder and other user savings). I have a HTC Touch Cruise.

Looks like a license problem. Do you have the right license file, the one and only this iGO8 version was equipped with, in your iGO8\license folder ?
