Tehát mind a 10et nyomassátok be, hogy ne érjen meglepetés egyes készülékeknél, ha nem indulna el!

The last 8.3.2 on C520 only runing with 9 license files, with ONLY the Generic license not runing. If i copy all 10 license, the c520 not see the Generic license in the Igo/About.

Just rename the new "IGO8.EXE" to "application.dat" and use the "old" installer to install the new version...

help me pls i have an axxion gps and with igo 8 r3 he dont find the gps receiver help me pls

For anyone who wants a new letter font and colour change , i have modded the "KIKKER 3.2 slightly ( hope its ok with you Kikker ).
I think the font looks more modern in "now and next" turn text, i have also changed it to yellow colour.

I have also made "house numbers" larger.

Just replace your skin with this version ( back up you old kikker 3.2 skin incase you do not like kikkers 3.2 modded skin ),
Put the new font into "igo8" directory.
Readme file included.

This is for 480x272 resolution only.
I do not have another PNA to test on.

Hi everybody. I have a problem concerning the two last versions of iGO8.

I have a PDA with Windows 2003SE. With my PDA I could run every navigation software as well as all iGO versions (2006, 8 and Amigo) without any problems. But when I use the 10 March and 3 April versions of iGO8 I got an error message. I run iGO8, it start and the cockpit is displaying. But after few seconds an error appears. "Out of Memory. Requested: -1, Cache: 145168". And I should press on OK and it exits.
This appears only with the 10 March and 3 April versions. I put again the 2 March iGO8 exe file back and it runs perfectly. I have tried several things. I did hard reset, so every programs was uninstalled and the useable memory was appr. 50M. This should be enough to run iGO8. I am using Gurjon 6.4P skin. But also without the use of this skin, with default skin, the error appears. I have deleted the save and speedcam directories, but without any success.

Does anybody knows this problem or who can help me to solve this problem.

This was already discussed here! Erase all files except *.kml files in content/user data/poi and then start IGO

To fix the message about a newer or older version you must try copying the 'igo8.exe'
into the 'SD CARD\iGO8\' folder and rename it to 'application.dat'.

That is needed because the installer will check the version of the installed 'igo8.exe' and
the 'application.dat'. If you change the 'igo8.exe' without also changing the 'application.dat'
then you will get that message.

The other solution is to remove or rename the '\2577' folder so that the installer is not run
every time you insert the 'SD CARD'.

NOTE: this has been mentioned before at various places on the board.

I can't enter the name of the street or the number of the house. I just can enter the name of the country and the name of the city.
It doesn't show the street's name.
Can someone explain it?

Igo version? maps version? Skin?

Hello.
I have a problem with a device with gps on a car. This is the device. Right now i have on a SD card IGO 2006 Plus and works. I put on another card the last version of IGO8 (Nav N Go iGO8 v8.3.2.83157 (Apr 3 2009), i replace the Data.zip (22-03-2009 (v10) and branding.zip from here, i set the device to run the executable file from IGO8 (IGO8.exe) and the result is a blank screen on the device. If i change the SD card with IGO 2006 Plus and i set the device to run the IGO.exe it works.
I think the problems is in Sys.txt ( I don't know what line to add). Right now the sys.txt contains only:

mapfontscale=200

The resolution of the screen on these device is 800x480
The questions is : how i made IGO8 to work on this device, what lines must be added in sys.txt

and map 2008.07 Data Source 2008 Tele Atlas N.V and skin is the normal skin
