Hello.
I have a problem with a device with gps on a car. This is the device. Right now i have on a SD card IGO 2006 Plus and works. I put on another card the last version of IGO8 (Nav N Go iGO8 v8.3.2.83157 (Apr 3 2009), i replace the Data.zip (22-03-2009 (v10) and branding.zip from here, i set the device to run the executable file from IGO8 (IGO8.exe) and the result is a blank screen on the device. If i change the SD card with IGO 2006 Plus and i set the device to run the IGO.exe it works.
I think the problems is in Sys.txt ( I don't know what line to add). Right now the sys.txt contains only:

show_exit=1

[interface]
mapfontscale=200

The resolution of the screen on these device is 800x480
The questions is : how i made IGO8 to work on this device, what lines must be added in sys.txt

In the sys.txt please use the

[rawdisplay]
driver="gdi"

or

[rawdisplay]
driver="gx"

If it is not working try this:

[interface]
resolution_dir="400_240"
vga=0

[rawdisplay]
stretch=1

or this:

[interface]
resolution_dir="400_240"
vga=0

[rawdisplay]
highres=0
screen_x=800
screen_y=480

and map 2008.07 Data Source 2008 Tele Atlas N.V and skin is the normal skin

Please use the latest 8.3.2 igo (r3 for pda, or 83157 for pna) and 2008.10 maps for weu and 2009.02 maps for eeu (maybe this month).

To fix the message about a newer or older version you must try copying the 'igo8.exe'
into the 'SD CARD\iGO8\' folder and rename it to 'application.dat'.

That is needed because the installer will check the version of the installed 'igo8.exe' and
the 'application.dat'. If you change the 'igo8.exe' without also changing the 'application.dat'
then you will get that message.

The other solution is to remove or rename the '\2577' folder so that the installer is not run
every time you insert the 'SD CARD'.

NOTE: this has been mentioned before at various places on the board.

Please edit in the sys.txt the app=.... row the correct.

Like: app="sdmmc\igo8"

or

app="cardname_or_foldername\igo8place"

I tested with the last set of lines , and he start only on a quarter of screen and then i get a messege about not enough memory. I use one 2GB sd card with 1,5 GB free.

( when is booting ai have to press button "Accept" on EULA text, but no mater how hard i press-it its not working.

I am a complete newbie I have 8.3.2.70321 (Techrific Way) on my HTC Cruise and have downloaded Australia US and UK maps stored on separate SD cards. I am about to travel to US and UK. Is it possible to have maps of all the countries on one SD card? I have tried to put them all together but the additional countries don't show up (except for Canada which does!!!!). If it can be done how do I do it? Thanks for your help.

As many maps as you want can all be added to the content/maps folder. If it is the right version (for iGo8.3, not iGo8.1) you can just select the country from address and off you go.
