I am a complete newbie I have 8.3.2.70321 (Techrific Way) on my HTC Cruise and have downloaded Australia US and UK maps stored on separate SD cards. I am about to travel to US and UK. Is it possible to have maps of all the countries on one SD card? I have tried to put them all together but the additional countries don't show up (except for Canada which does!!!!). If it can be done how do I do it? Thanks for your help.

As many maps as you want can all be added to the content/maps folder. If it is the right version (for iGo8.3, not iGo8.1) you can just select the country from address and off you go.

Tried that but apart from Canada (that is part of the N.America map) neither the US or UK maps appear to enable selection in the 'Find Address/Select Country' buttons?? All are 8.3 .. maps Any suggestions??

Thank you droland again. I have tested all combinations of lines you suggest to me. The third suggestion was almost good. Almost because the screen of the software is only a quarter of a screen and seem not sensitive on any buton. ( when is booting ai have to press button "Accept" on EULA text, but no mater how hard i press-it its not working.

The last 8.3.2.83157 has a Generic (all world) license... try that...

The last 8.3.2.83157 has a Generic (all world) license... try that...

Thanks for the suggestion I tried 8.3.2.83157. All the maps work fine on a separate SD card using the same version of iGO 8.3 but when I place all the maps on one SD card only one of the countries shows up for selection??? It's got me stuffed!!!

Hi guys!

I'm using HTC Kaiser, but unfortunately I still haven’t found good 8.3.2.xxxxx version which works without any bug. I’ve tried several versions beginning with 8.3.1.xxxxx but every version changes my devices’ backlight if I use the maximum power in IGO (no success with any sys.txt changes, I’ve tried everything), and with the latest version IGO closes without any warning. So please some Kaiser user could send a link to a working version which isn’t contain the mentioned bug.

Hi everybody. I have a problem concerning the two last versions of iGO8.

I have a PDA with Windows 2003SE. With my PDA I could run every navigation software as well as all iGO versions (2006, 8 and Amigo) without any problems. But when I use the 10 March and 3 April versions of iGO8 I got an error message. I run iGO8, it start and the cockpit is displaying. But after few seconds an error appears. "Out of Memory. Requested: -1, Cache: 145168". And I should press on OK and it exits.
This appears only with the 10 March and 3 April versions. I put again the 2 March iGO8 exe file back and it runs perfectly. I have tried several things. I did hard reset, so every programs was uninstalled and the useable memory was appr. 50M. This should be enough to run iGO8. I am using Gurjon 6.4P skin. But also without the use of this skin, with default skin, the error appears. I have deleted the save and speedcam directories, but without any success.

Does anybody knows this problem or who can help me to solve this problem.

The 2009.02 maps no bug... you igo is a bug (do you use skin?)

I resolve my problem with the help of dansidragos who have a similar device, and he give me his sys.txt with my resolution (800x480). I have made minor modification and its works very good.

These maps are working only with IGO Amigo. No work with IGO 8

This is NOT correct info. The maps working with 8.4 igo amigo and 8.3 igo8, but before use the new maps, deleting the save folder in your content folder.

Yes you are right. If you like to have 2009 maps on IGO 8.3 you have to delete folder Save. Thanks

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if anyone can help me or if anyone has the same problem i have with iGO.

Right now i am using iGO 8 V8.3.2.64873 Dated Novenber 13 2008 on my NDrive Touch XL GPS. The reason why i´m still using this older version is because everytime i install a 2009 version the sound becames too low even at maximum settings which is impossible to hear when i´m driving.
The curious thing is when i revert to any 2008 version the sound is perfecty audible and loud! I have tried every single 2009 iGO 8 version and i have always this problem even at maximum the sound is too low. So i was wondering if anyone has the same problem or has a clue why this kind of thing happens

Oh and by the way this sound problem does not happen with iGo amigo and i use the same voice files for both iGo 8 and iGo amigo
