I have also deleted poi folder, but it didnot helped either.

Just delete the *.kml files in your userdata\poi directory. Maybe this will help. At least it was solved with my PDA.

i don't have userdata/poi folder

Don't you have this *.kml files under igo8\content\userdata\poi ?

Did you try also without any skins? And try also without buildings, because this consumpts a lot of memory. If your usable memory is low, this will cause the problem. What you also can try is, run igo and push on exit, but don't stop the program. Just minimize it. And then check your memory status. See what your free memory is.

Success.

Try this in your sys.txt.

[debug]
no_file_cache="1"
cache=4096
reserve_memory=2000000

Maybe this will help

@admuerte: try deleting ".spud" autovelox, use ".txt" format (same of iGO6). May seem weird, but this often solve memory problems with latest versions of iGO 8.3.2

I just started playing with iGO8 8.3 and found there is no contacts.upoi in the Save folder. Copied the file from 8.0 seemed not working. Any help?

load up one of the PDA versions of 8.3.2. contacts will then be imported. You only need the iGO8.exe and NNGCxNav.dll

Then replace the .exe file with the latest one.

Contacts will be there.

One caveat: If you change a contact on the pda side it will NOT update automatically unless you run the PDA version of iGO again.

I would like to upgrade right now from 8.0 to v8.3.2.83157.
It is possible to export/import the POI db I have added to the prev. version?

Thanks for the answer. I have downloaded 80621 and 83157, but both versions have no NNGCxNav.dll. Does that mean they are both PNA version? Which version is for PDA if so? Thanks in advance.

I also had some troubles with seeing no contacts in the list of POI. The NNGCxNav.dll is mainly responsible for loading the outlook contacts into iGO. I managed to register this DLL into the registry, and put it in windows directory of my PDA. But after that there were still no contacts listed in the POI menu.

So i downloaded release Nav N Go iGO 8 v8.3.2.73871 (Jan 25 2008) - R3 PDA version, and installed iGO8 into my device.

Taadaa, all contacts (with some minor errors) were listed in the POI menu.

Good luck, Helical. 8)

I just tried 73871 on my PNA but unable to load successfully. It quit right after the start screen shows up. Tried few times to edit sys.txt but in vain. Basically, I need the POIs in \Save\contacts.upoi to be listed in the POI menu. Guess have to try more.

Dear friends, I do not undestand one thing...... I searched already in previous pages but I didn't notice anything...
With this latest version (8.3.2.83157) I noticed that skins are not any more working (the skin option is grey) on my HD (480_800).
Is there any reason?
Am I missing something?
Thank you all!
