Hi everyone.
I was wondering if anyone can help me or if anyone has the same problem i have with iGO.

Right now i am using iGO 8 V8.3.2.64873 Dated Novenber 13 2008 on my NDrive Touch XL GPS. The reason why i´m still using this older version is because everytime i install a 2009 version the sound becames too low even at maximum settings which is impossible to hear when i´m driving.
The curious thing is when i revert to any 2008 version the sound is perfecty audible and loud! I have tried every single 2009 iGO 8 version and i have always this problem even at maximum the sound is too low. So i was wondering if anyone has the same problem or has a clue why this kind of thing happens

Oh and by the way this sound problem does not happen with iGo amigo and i use the same voice files for both iGo 8 and iGo amigo

I am currently using the March 10th version, and would like to upgrade to the April 3rd version. Is it possible to do this, or do I need to completely uninstall, and re-install the new one? If it is possible, which files do I need to replace?

The latest iGO8 versions need a different KML structure.
Use the service on ashu's site from *.kml to convert the user.upoi file (found in iGO8\save folder):

i should add that i got the poi's from http://www.pdiromania.ro/igo-8-puncte-de-interes.html and in addition i have my own personal kml (poi's) added (it is made of several poi's made in map mode in igo 8.3.2 nov edition). i want to use them all in igo 8.3.2 apr edition. they are all in the userdata/poi folder

I placed the new data.zip file, and branding.zip file from April 3, in my March 10 iGo folder.
I also deleted Save folder.
It seemed to start fine, took me through EULA, and setup, but when I check the version, it still shows the March 10 verion and date. I also noticed that the data.zip was created March 10.
Is this normal behavior?

You need to replace file(s) in the memory, not in the SD card. (e.g., Program Files\iGO8)

what model of gps you have?
are you installed previous version?
see your program files / igo8 folder

and change igo8.exe file

No. Do you really start the right iGO8.exe, the one you have really changed?

Indeed data.zip version hasn't changed in April 3 version.

Guys, if you like the Amigo GUI (Graphical User Interface) but still want to use previous IGO 8.3.2, then you need to see what this guy did. I successfully installed it in my Mio C320 and is working nice!!! You will not notice it is not Amigo but have all the functionality of the 8.3.2!!!! I was using his previous skins and really like the graphics. Try it...you will have a blast. You can even select the 3D cars

Every time I stop my PNA, at restart the program reset itself. In the january version I don't have this bug. Have this a solution?
